Firefox decided to delete all my bookmarks, and since I rely on them, I haven't been here for a while.

So...how's everyone doing...

God dammit, what don't you understand about this? Your host...sucks. Everything about it. You need to get that through your thick skull.

We CAN'T HELP YOU if you DON'T LISTEN. If you say that you listen, then prove it to me by actually responding to me when I say...

Get a new host. Period.

Dumping freewebs is a great idea, but making a chat requires alot of knowledge of other web languages.

If you're wanting something like a chat or a BBS, you'll need to pay for hosting somewhere that supports PHP or ASP and MySQL or another kind of database.

If you want something easy to use for a forum system after you have the hosting, I'd go for phpBB.

Free? I don't know of any good ones.

As for ones that aren't free, I'm currently ADDICTED to City of Heroes.

Well Jess, hope you get a little less stressed with it. It'll be good to still see you around, hopefully you'll chime in every once in a while.

I saw him a year later and he told me that inspired him to play expert. So he does now. I INSPIRE PEOPLE!

First, download Spybot: S&D. It's free, and it works.

Second, don't use P2P programs, or download any files that are iffy. That's how you contracted it in the first place...they don't just appear. Common sense can save you in the future. You seem like a smart guy, so I'm guessing you've already realized that...just making the point.

If Spybot doesn't help, I don't know of any free program that could.

Holy shit, dude! I just got the email! I kept telling everyone I wanted this album on Rock Band, and I didn't know why they didn't put it on.

Now all I need is some Rage Against the Machine, and I'll be happy.

In addition to what everyone else said...although most of it was about different functions, not security...I prefer to use htmlspecialchars() when using data like that.

The code itself seems a little cluttered, but I don't see anything that would be too much of a security risk.

My dad and I once tried to uninstall Norton using an actual Norton Uninstall Tool. It worked on my laptop, then we tried it on his. When he restarted the computer, a message came up that said "Norton was uninstalled. Reinstalling Norton."

And how are you supposed to figure out who's logged off? That's very flawed.

I would just add a part to the MySQL to the user's information...just a simple timestamp. Run a new timestamp in the row every time that user accesses a page, then run a check for all users with timestamps newer than 10 minutes ago.
