Sadly no. That was phased out in favour of the revenue system. These days you just get a certificate and some store credit.

I think movies and games that rank #1 in the monthlies are automatically included in the nominations.

The Frankie flash was more lolable than fappable, and it captured the essence of the show pretty neatly too.

I'll certainly want to attend the Autumn Fling. Though depending on how my uni schedule turns out, it may just have to be the weekend only.

We also had contributions from Aardman and Ubisoft yesterday too. Small diversions, yes, but decent nonetheless.

Well I'm not gonna win that chickin since I'm in the UK, but I'll participate in the survey anyhoos

When did you first learn about Newgrounds?

It was quite popular in school when everyone caught wind of Assasin. Didn't officially join til 2004 mind.

What do you most enjoy about the site?

The publicity you get towards your submissions, which is more than a random nobody can get from Youtube/Deviantart etc can usually get.

Given one day at the reins of the site, what would you change, what would you fix?

Make it so you're able to check how your submissions are doing whilst under judgement (score, respond to reviews, etc) Take some of that tension away.
Also, a bit more love for the PNGs would be nice.

Is there anything you miss, that you'd like to see back?

People remembering to put stuff into the collections more often.

I think the main problem was that it was a parody that seemed to rely on people having seen the original. Which noone actually did.

There seems to be the general misconception that I've been working on the game for 5 years which is not the case. If you play the game you will clearly notice it's not a game that has taken 5 years to produce.

I sincerely doubt anyone expected you to be working on a game for 5 years. There are just some things you expect after a 5 year gap. More in terms of like if you compare the visual quality gap between the first Toy Story movie and Finding Nemo.

That, and I'm pretty sure a good half of the site has been desensitised to Zone-Sama's works so there's high standards there.

Oh Yotam, you silly billy.

One of the main issues with Orgasm Girl 2 (despite the generally depravity and such), was how it locked off previous levels after you played them. Also, considering it's been about 5 years since the last one, you'd think there'd be some animation in there.

I'm a little confused by Oney's short. Had an interesting start, but I couldn't quite understand what the change of focus was about, and then it turned out to be the punchline. O.o

Nightmare City and its sequel, Nightmare City: Catastrophe are two flawless movies that definitely deserve recognition. They don't get very much attention because of being overshadowed by it's parody, "4chan city."

I think it's more a fact that they were submitted to someone else's account first, and were later acredited to the right account. Insert general NG mistrust.

I don't recall any recent posts from Tom saying the monthly winners get absolutely nothing at all nowadays.
Plus the passdown was still in effect when JohnnyUtah was at the top of the July vote.

Not trying to start another people vs Mindchamber scenario, just curious.

I've just noticed this, but you haven't given your 'since <insert game/movie> was made by NG staff, the prize will be passed down to the next runner up' speech. Slip of the mind or was someone on the team demanding satisfaction?

I wouldn't say that. Since the Madness layout is as standard as they come, people tend to be a bit more cautious on who manages to make their submissions stand out amon the crowd (particularly in terms of style)
