Yes that is correct, but i've heard of a windows substitute that came out a while ago.

You can use certain programs to take midis apart. and match each loop with its instrument partner and effects. You could also rearrange the notes in midi's using programs like garageband.

isn't garageband for mac though? i have heard of it but haven't been able to play with it.

Sorry for the double post but i just remembered that if you convert the audio file to midi and open it with sibelius it will give you the entire score of the song.

Magix 11 or 12 deluxe works pretty good with that. It doesn't give you the exact notes but it gives you the chords and key changes.

i agree, if you listen to some old jazz music they harmonize the keyboard and vibraphone alot, and it sound great.

huh you should be able to go there no matter what. if not then there is something seriously wrong with your pc. try restarting the pc.
