the thing about this is that a war crime will happen without anyone knowing so. if i was a soldier and i dragged an innocent person into a building, shot them and left with nothing to prove that i shot him besides a bullet gone from my magazine, i technacly did not do a war crime. but if i shot someone at a protest, that would be a warcrime because upwards of 100 people would probably be watching me.

now the unjust thing about war crimes is the fact that the ones that are not tried are mostly the ones with the greater power. when the americans tourchered iraqis by dragging them across the floor and what not, it could've been overlooked if not all the media spewed out. but so that the US didn't look as oppressive to iraq as they really were, they had it as a big mistake and declaired it a war crime.

for a fact, i don't beleive in war. there are certain times for it, and i know that as well. but there is one thing to remeber about war: the gun will always dictate, for good or bad. and if the gun is in the wrong hands, we know what happens.

it's actually quite refreshing to know that canada is trying to give the gun people a run for their money. although it probably does say that candians have a right to defend ourselves (mabye it doesn't, i haven't read the bill of rights yet) i think when the time comes, we will defend ourselves, but when we don't have to, lets keep the peace and not follow the US stereotype

Gays have it bad in the world for a multitude of reasons:

1 the bible is against it
2 many govenrments are against it
3 the part of the population that would rather complain than deal with it are against it (note i didn't say majority because most times, the majority doesn't speak)
4 WAAAAAY too many stereotypes circle around it

the point is that they gay community is being exploited for no obvius reason. most people i've talked to who say that Homosextuality is bad never have a response when i ask "why?" the best i've ever gotten was "because it's just wrong!". obviusly, there is something wrong! i don't mean to offend any christian supporters here, but priets abusing little kids that go to sunday school is not my idea of strait. now, i have never really met a gay person. i might have an intent to, but i haven't. anyway, i know that there are more good people in this world than bad. and i beleive a vast majority, if not all homosextuals deserve a right to live and breath in this society.

and if you don't think this is raveings from a communist, think of this: what would happen to HETERO marrage rights if HOMOSEXTUALS run the government!
