Well I just completed Portal a while ago, pretty fun game but boy was it short. Didn't really see what the whole fuss was about, I mean it was fun but it was nowhere near as good as the "BEST GAME EVAR" status everyone's been giving it and the companion cube was only in it for a split second.

I didn't really find any of the puzzles that challenging, even the boss at the end was just so simple. It was very funny though and I did like the ending. Have yet to do the advanced maps or challenges yet though, so I hope they offer more in terms of difficulty.

Might start HL2 now, can't believe I've never played it until now...

So I recently bought this excellent compilation of games, and first off I'd like to say I think it's one of the best deals I've ever had, all these awesome games in one package plus PEGGLE because you know that rocks.

So far I've only played TF2 and Peggle, since the main reason I got it was after the free weekend on TF2 I became utterly addicted with the game and always wanted to get round to buying it. Although from the way people rave on about HL2 and Portal I'm expecting a lot from them too.

One thing however, is that if you're looking to buy The Orange Box at a store then good luck, since EA have decided to split each game up and sell them for £20 each.

Now wait a minute, because when I bought the entire Orange Box off steam it only cost about £20, so what do EA think they're playing at? I honestly feel sorry for anyone who can't order off of Steam, seeing as I had some trouble doing so and hence why I was looking to buy the actual box. Ah well, trust EA to milk something for all the money it's worth.

Anyway, I'm off to play Portal now.
