We got a bunch of great musicians joining up, but if anyone else would like to join in the Audio collab (NGADBC), PM me with you email, so I can invite you to dropbox, where the madness happens. Work on your own entry, or work with others, and dedicate and inspire your fellow peers of the NG community. -Will

Jazz would be freakin sweet. I still wouldn't consider Salad fingers metal just cause there's added distortion. It brings out the intensity that I wanted really well, but It's not done and will probably be different come the final product!

I'm pretty sure that Toku provided his email in his reply.
Sorry to sound kind of controlling, I'm just really excited about this.

Yeah, i figured it was, but he said it was his chat name, so I'm unsure if that's also his primary email. Either way, he may not use the Drop Box, he says its questionable whether it's secure.

Well, I was thinking along the lines of 'random', someone just starts with a melody or a beat, which he or she posts in dropbox with a text file. In this file the various layers of the song will be posted, or people can 'claim' them.

Currently school is my highest priority, but I do have a couple of things floating around in my head which I try to put into Reason whenever the mood strikes me.
Also, I don't mind receiving PMs regarding this. Hell, I've been getting so much lately this wouldn't be a lot more to handle haha.

I like your idea. It's kind of what I've been expecting to see happen.

And don't worry man, I've included you in the list because you've been a great help already and you show interest, but school should be your priority, and I more than expected it. Don't let this project hold you back from your school work. You're welcome here anytime you can find time to write some music. Thanks for helping support this man. Your a big help.

Please remember guys, PM me or someone else like RNNR (if he doesn't mind), or any other member here so far. We need email's if you want access to all the files, samples and projects.

If anyone has any problems or comments, by all means post here or PM one of us.

Sure, what do you have in mind?

For drums, I have experience programming drums and melodies and my GF is going to probably join, and she's a bassist. I'm sure we'll have plenty of people with all sorts of experience eventually.

Okay, everyone who has responded and PM'ed me their email so far is posted on our shared dropbox account, and has access to all the files there. Just go to getdropbox.com to access our inventory of bad ass projects. If ANYONE wants in, or knows somebody who may want in, just PM me the email. You will not receive Spam or any shit like that, the email is only used to send invites to you so you can have full access to the drop box system.

Drop Box was recommended to me by RNNR, to help users in this group share files and information with ease and the least amount of frustration possible. Everyone can access and upload their work here, but it's asked you keep things organized and put your files in the appropriate folders. Also, anything could happen, so please backup your files on your own computer. I don't think anyone will slip up, but you can't be too careful.

With the NG community working together, I'm hoping that all of us can work together and make a downloadable CD to help inspire all the artists here on NG. The music can be whatever we wish, we can work with whoever we want, with as many people as we want. If you want to attack a song all on your own, have at you. I can't wait to get started guys, and I can't wait to see how far this goes.

Lets see who we can get involved. I'm looking forward to working with all of you.

I'll post again later, and tonight I'll start some samples.

A Drop Box account has been created for the project. An incomplete song from my old band has been included inside the account for viewing which is not available here on newgrounds.

This account will be essential for sharing files and collaborating. I will PM artists the account email and password if you are interested in participating.

By downloading Drop Box to your computer, you can easily upload your files without accessing the Internet at all. If you choose not to download the program, no worries. Your can do it easily online too. Go to www.getdropbox.com

We've been using it for our Storybook Collab submission and with projects at college. Once you've tried you'll never want anything else!

As for music, how long do you tend to keep this going? I'm exceptionally busy at the moment but things should clear up in the foreseeable future.
If you want an example of what kind of music I make click the link in my sig.

This is really awesome, I really appreciate the link. This will help a lot. To answer your question, it really depends on how many people want to do this and how many songs they want to make. With no deadlines right now, there should be plenty of time for anyone to join whenever they want. Hopefully though, NG artists who want in can work on as many songs as they want. So as long as the group is having fun and are motivated to make music, the project should stay alive.

I'm hoping many people with many talents and expertise can express themselves on this project.

So, my idea is to make some songs for the NG Audio Portal, collaborating with any artists that want to join (groups of 5 or 6 artists could work on a song while other groups work on other songs). There is no leader, and no time limit. It's basically like a band for NG users with unlimited members, all of which will receive equal credit for their work. All our user names will be visible. We could make as many songs as we want to. I'd also like to cover as many genre's as possible (rock, big band/jazz, piano, techno, whatever we want!). Our music should be fun for all NG users to listen to and download.

I myself have been in a few local bands, and I can edit audio, use FL studio, Cubase, sing, compose drumbeats, etc. I have limited samples on NG already, all of which I could use extra refining if we choose to (my favorite, Sheep, could use better guitar). Anyone, boys and girls, who's good at Bass, Guitar, Acoustic, singing, Keyboard, Piano, trumpet, editing audio, whatever; is more than welcome to collaborate along.

Is anyone interested in making fun music tracks with a group of NG artists for NG users? Thread it man.

Other than the fact that they're utter shit?

HOORAY I CAN TRAVEL A FEW MILES THEN SPEND MOST OF A DAY RECHARGING MY CAR. THIS SURE IS AWESOME.

Also, where is the electricity to charge them coming from? More electricity consumption (from everyone charging cars for 12+ hours a day) would lead to increasing pollution as more power stations would be needed.

Fuck off, I asked you reasonable questions and you didn't answer a single one of them, you clearly have no basis for your claims.

You did ask me reasonable questions, and I did answer them. But to be honest, if you really pay attention to that movie (and what I'm telling you), you wouldn't be asking ME these questions. You should be asking yourself, not rely on me or the movie, and do a lengthy observation yourself. Go back over what I previously wrote you, I did answer each question.

Why would people teach you?

Why would the university be given electricity?

Where would they get equipment?

Where is the incentive for people if money is removed?

There's a way. And you don't need money to build things. You don't need money to teach. A good person with no barriers (such as debt or money in general) with the skills would be glad to teach. And as for the incentive, money just isn't it. Do you Flash? Do you want to Travel? Do you paint? Well you'll need money. Money isn't an incentive, it's a barrier. Whether your traveling, going out to dinner or a movie, or selling a work of art, when money is there, there's always a downside. You can't keep your painting, you can't see a movie, and you can't even eat.

My point is, we have the resources right now all over the Planet. But as long as money is involved, getting to it will take a while. And we DON'T have time for that today. There is no reason every car right now should not be electric to save our planet. Without money, we could finally take protecting our earth seriously.

Anybody here want to team up and make some flash?

I've used flash for 8 years since Flash 4. I know actionscript 2.0 and use Flash 8. I can also design using flash. Overall I can do almost anything with Flash. I also do music. If anyone wants to work on some small projects together (maybe even for a sponsorship if it works out), feel free to reply. I'm looking mostly for another well-rounded flasher (or even something who is better at one thing than another). It'll be fun :)

They're doing the god damn "hurr half the world lives on $2 a day" and "hurr the monetary institution is a religion and is not understood" bullshit. It's clearly obvious that these guys know nothing about money themselves. $2 American =/= 2 units of foreign currency. There's exchange rates, inflation/deflation, etc. to keep in mind. $2 American is worth a lot more in developing 3rd world countries than it is in America. If it wasn't, no one would be living on $2 a day because THEY WOULD HAVE ALREADY STARVED TO DEATH YEARS AGO.

I just can't keep watching that shit. It's just going to piss me off to a ridiculous extent. Probably due to the fact that these asses are lying through their teeth while telling us that we're being lied to by the man. They're telling us not to comply, and they're also telling us to believe in what THEY say at the same god damn time. It's hypocritical, it's illogical, and it's misleading. I refuse to be talked down to by these fuckheads.

I understand why it would piss you off. I believe it because I've done my own research several times. Trust me, this movie did not completely convince me either at first. I was skeptical. I put the pieces and questions I had together and got the best answers I could on my own, not just from the internet but by my own observations of what's happening around me. I don't watch TV unless it's HOUSE MD or Ed Edd and Eddy, because I already know the news and other programs are filtered. It wasn't until we got the internet that things really started circulating. Even if you don't believe the movie word for word, cummon now. Something is wrong. It's not hard to see the incoming depression hitting us. And this is not the way any of us want to live. Maybe you got it good, but as long as you can see that something is wrong, there's no reason for us to think it'll eventually fix itself. At some point WE have to take SOME peaceful action. The direction we are headed in now, and if they remain, is only gonna get worse. So heres my new question, how would you make things better, and what research would you do?

Eating alot is an issue, but such calorie restriction is not easy. You wouldn't feel so bad about yourself if you stayed away from breads, sugars, grains, pasta, rice, etc, and moved to more natural foods. Eventually though, sugar is much like a drug, and when you have the shakes or need something sweet, have a raw egg, or some healthy protein source instead. After a week or two, you'll stop having cravings and can partake in the occasional carb without feeling its weighing you down.

If you want to get some excersize, make sure that if you were, say, walking or jogging with a friend, you need to make sure your exercising enough that it is difficult to carry on a conversation with your buddy. Otherwise, your not going to receive any benefits from the excersize, you'll just be wasting time.
