Consider the Charles Murray plan (proposed by Harvard psychologist Charles Murray), where every citizen 21 years or older receives a monthly check exactly equal to the minimum cost of living (in other words, the cost of paying rent on a cheap apartment, buying nutritious food, health insurance, and other basic necessities), plus some extra money. Charles Murray proposes that the grant be $10,000 per year, but I think that's a little bit on the small side. But to pay for the handouts pretty much all of our social spending gets axed. No more social security, medicare, medicaid, etc.
The nice thing about it is that it creates a social safety net without taking away people's freedom.
That plan is just plain fuckin' stupid. If everybody only gets enough cash to live off of, think of how many companies would go bankrupt. Because nobody could buy something extra like an Xbox 360 or even a microwave because they wouldn't have the money! They couldn't enjoy life! And if you can't do that there's no point in living.
Unless the point to it is: live - breed - pay taxes - and die. Sounds like something the Illuminati would come up with.
What does the tin foil hat brigade have to say about that?

I assume you just live forever because age doesn't affect you, so once you start seeing enough people die around you, you'll most likley have thoughts of suicide and eventually take your own life. As much as you can try and give off a tough exterior, that heartbreak will be the end of you, no matter what you do.
What's the point of living if you're literally going to be left alone forever? One can only take so much sorrow and pain before they want to end it by their own hands.
There is no purpose for eternal life.
Of course if you're allready alone then that wouldn't matter.
Really, someone who's immortal could take over the world. Because nobody could stop them.
Now it it was me. I'd put on my black trenchcoat and cowboy hat, and either a V or a hockey mask, and go arround killing all of the scum in this country and everywhere else (criminals, shit face politicians, the leaders of PETA, terrorists... on and on).

The song "Cleansed by Fire" by Alice Cooper may fit here.
Makes you glad you don't live there. I'm at a loss for words here i don't beleive it. I can't beleive people over there beleive that shit about stealing them! And what are they gonna use them for? "Authentic" dildo's?
I think this sums it up:

That goes without saying. I just got a couple of DS games at a Gamestop today (which games? my sig should give you a hint), and i was suprised by the selection they had compared to PSP.
I was gonna get a DS today too, but they were out (a nearby Wal-Mart had the Guitar Hero SE but it was too much for me). Will (hopefully) get one tomorrow though.
Cool. That would definitely be a little more imtimidating to a burglar.
Wolves. Reminds me of the good ol' days, of....
Don't turn your back on the Wolfpac. Or you might wind up in a bodybag.
People never know what the future will be like. When Disneyland's "Future Land (or w/e) opened in the 50's, the year where "flying a rocket will be an everyday thing" was 1985.
Let's see...what was arround then...?
I haven't had a haircut since 1995. But in all that time my hair hasn't gotten past my shoulders :/ . It usually looks ok, until after i wash it. The fact that it's naturally curly (it straightens out after a few days) means i have to let it air dry. If i use a hair dryer, well, let's just say i look appropiate for the 80's
I don't give a rats ass about what "may" happen in 2012. There's 2009, 2010, and 2011 to worry about first.

MY PLANS FOR BETTER GUN CONTROL:
I say that we need to mandate a gun ownership license, and mandate a Federal Database on who owns what gun, not who owns which bullets. Furthermore, require an annual checkup for all people with gun licenses---and a checkup in order to get a gun license in the first place---then require fingerprinting.
And makes it all that easier to confiscate them (i couldn't quote the whole thing for some reason).

Instead, a new generation of reactors will create tens of thousands of tonnes of the most hazardous radioactive waste, which remains dangerous for up to a million years. It will establish new targets for terrorists, including nuclear waste trains carrying deadly cargoes along our public rail network for decades to come. It will keep the threat of a nuclear reactor accident hanging over us and risk the proliferation of weapons-grade plutonium. And it will render the public liable for the enormous cleaning up costs.
OBJECTION!
The fact is one of these trains of waste could probably fall into the Grand Canyon and there would be no materials release. In fact there's videos on youtube showing the caskets being rammed full speed by another train. That plus the safety systems allready in place (signals, GPS, dispatchers monitoring all trains, the guard cars that accompany the shipments...) means there's not a damn thing terrorists could do with them. It's just an excuse from the greenies.

During storage they are left in concrete containers underground, with shovels and jackhammers you could probably steal the waste. To steal the waste from the shipping vehicles would require overpowering/eluding its guards.Right now the waste is just stored right outside the plant. But once we build Yucca Mountain, it'll be stored very, very deep underground. Stealing nuclear waste from a deep underground repository in the middle of the desert next to a military base would be difficult to say the least.
I think if you were going to steal the waste, you'd want to steal it in transit, not when it's deep underground.
Trains Magazine had an article on Yucca Mountain a few months ago. It will be the safest area of them all. And not just because it's in the middle of nowhere, Nellus AFB and Area 51 will be nearby (in fact the long circuitous route the rail line will take is because if they tried making a straight route it would cut across the bombing range and Area 51).
As for wind and solar. The're is a place for them (and it's getting popular all right. The past few months i've seen the blades and housings for them being transported down the highway, and on 2 occasions saw an entire train of flatcars loaded with the masts). It's just not a TOTAL solution. There's no way solar and wind power could supply enough electricity for the US alone.

Boy some people really can't tell what sarcasam or humor are on this board.
PETA is a bunch of cocksuckers though.

I'm praying that I've just fallen into his trap, because it's still laughable bullshit. It's obvious that trees don't get scared when you kill other plants in front of them. That's just silly. If you put a blindfold over me and plugged my ears, and killed a man in front of me, I'd have no way of knowing about it. Even if trees had thought (which they don't; they're made of wood) they don't have senses, so they would have no way of knowing.
Also, Earth doesn't feel pain, Japan. This Gaia bullshit from the Final Fantasy movie is a lie. That goes for you too, M. Night Shyamalan.
Then again, wouldn't that be a way to stick it to the PETA suckers (what i call them, because they are cocksuckers). Imagine. Someone starts PETP: Persons for the Ethical Treatment of Plants, and starts blasting veggie heads for plant abuse :P Because hey, wouldn't it hurt a plant when you pull a bean sprout off it?
So basicly. you buy the game new. Then buy the ending. Then you sell it used. The next person that buys it used also has to pay for the ending. Nice way to increase your bottom line.
Besides not only will it reduce game sales, it wouldn't be long before the internet is flooded with free hacked downloads of the endings. And the're wouldn't be a damn thing they could do to stop it.
And if they tried.....woah boy.

How the fuck would that work with console based systems? Especially the PS3? That's bullshit. If that happens people are going to QUIT buying new games. They better think twice before doing that.

At least the loonie ones. Not all are.
The insane are the ones that force religion down your throat (Like Jesus Camp) and tell you if you like a certain thing you suck and you're going to hell (the're they are judging strangers, yet that's a sin).
Such as this group. That got OWNED at their protest.
Face it. Viacom must die. They control too much and need to be split up. And of course the're the #1 Youtube terrorists.
I think they will go down eventually.

Oh man. They'd probably spit on you for that XD.
Another good one he said (when he talked about modifiying the Ten Commandments) was what pretty much sums it up:
"Thou shall keep thy religion to thyself"
Here's another way to piss them off (this song rules).

like Alex Jones and those idiots from Loose Change and that EDF WEBSITE?Yeah, if those guys want to make points like that, people should demand they have real and solid evidence from credible and knowledgable sources to back that up. That should always be asked for when someone wants to state something as fact. Otherwise it's just a theory or a hypothesis, or even worse, a publicized guess masquerading as fact.
Because sometimes i don't think they have proof. It's just something (possibly BS) that someone throws out there, and it get's turned arround and twisted as it's spread over the internet, until it's where sometimes the're contradicting each other with their statements! And if the're is any truth it's been corrupted.
Here's one case in point. The so called FEMA prison train cars. When i first heard it they were black boxcars with shackles. Then it was..no wait the're white boxcars...no wait the're the auto carriers that have been arround since the 70's....no wait the're the Auto Max car carriers yeah that's it because they look strange, despite videos on Youtube showing them being loaded with cars. And the quanities have ranged from 300 to 3 MILLION (there's not even that many train cars on the North American continent!) And the only videos i've seen are poor quality ones of regular auto carriers.
Some even say the're also used to transport cattle. Livestock was never shipped in those. In fact..CATTLE HAVEN'T BEEN SHIPPED BY RAIL SINCE THE 1980'S!! And it just makes them look even more like dickheads. One idiot on Youtube posted a video of a train with a couple of beat up autoracks, and actually said in the description: "cars aren't transported by train".
Checkmate dipshit.
Here's one of my photos:
2 that are more than likely on that list are:
Have we succeded in bankrupting the coal powered power plant industry? (which would mean hundreds of thousands of jobs lost, railroads would lose the majority of their revenue source, which would lead to more job losses, which.....)
Have we succeded in removing the 2nd ammendment from the Constitution?

No it isn't.
And when it does that's when revolution starts.
This legislation is pure, commie red, bullshit.
And how the hell would they be able to tell if someone turned over their old ammo? You could give them a half used box of 12 gauge shells and say that's it. When in reality you have a whole case of them back home.
And the fact is most guns aren't registered, so they have no way of knowing who has them.
I guess that's where "house by house search" comes in. And again where revolution starts.
You swallow.
Short, and stings.
"you blow" would be a good response too.
