It finaly bit me. I just uploaded a Phoenix Wrong style video that used 4 diffrent music clips. Despite not even mentioning them their system detected a problem song and the sound was muted. I clicked a link under the message and you have choices; leave it as is, delete it, file a dispute witht the owner, or replace the song with one they have that's ok to use. Fair enough it seems.
I just deleted it. Went back to Movie Maker and cut that song out, then reuploaded it as a diffrent file (i wasn't really satisfied with that one anyway).
The song was "the Black Widow" by Alice Cooper (which is funny because i used a newer Cooper song in another vid' and it's still up.
And it was muted for another song now. So i removed it.

I think the're going about it wrong. Instead of that they should gather up all of the fanboys, put them in an arena with some blunt objects, and let them beat each other to death until one group (or person) is left, then you put them on a pedestal and shoot em'.

The videos that take hits most often are ones that belong to certain companies *coughViacomUniversalcoughHBOcough*. Some nobody seems to care about. I have yet to see a Judas Priest video that was uploaded by an "official source", and of course AC/DC doesn't seem to care.
A similar thing i've seen is with Weird Al videos uploaded by someone. Instead of being taken off they have "contains content from" and then the icons for Sony/BMG and Weird Al TV. Now why can't others be like them?
