Have you ever made a replica of one? And I mean from scratch, not one of those you buy that are pre-cut.
I have recently made a trebuchet, but I'm having trouble finding a good counterweight, and the arm split in half vertically, so I had to get some heavy duty tape and an industrial stapler to patch it up.

I would appreciate some advice for a counterweight, if possible.
