I started this two weeks ago but because I have a lack of motivation, I just finished it. This was sketched with pencil and paper and then I colored it in photoshop. It was my first time drawing with pencil and paper since highschool, about 10 years ago. I have been using photoshop for about 9 years but I've never tried to color and shade a drawing. It turned out to be much tougher than I thought. I will probably make a background for this but that might take another 2 weeks so I wouldn't hold my breath. Anyway sorry about the novel, any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am from Texas so this was inspired by rattle snakes and longhorn steer.

Thank you. I've used the tips and comments and here is my next attempt.

I made this little guy to try and teach myself how to shade by trial and error; as you can see it turned out more on the error side. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I tried to shade it in photoshop but I have adobe master collection so let me know if any of the other programs are better.

Hmm, personally I don't consider it high quality. It kind of looks like you took a picture of your own naked crotch and then filter fucked it, the little blue thing looks like the head of a very short dick. But then again if you would have started out saying it was painted, or created from a blank canvas, then I might have a different outlook.

First off the name is widow TAKER not maker. Second, I just saw some of your last drawings, you're not what I would consider an "artist". Third, my last oil barrel guy was 10 time better then some of the other shit that you guys let pass earlier on in the thread. So at this point, why don't you shut your little yapper and keep sketching your crappy little drawings, then I'll wait a few posts and put my shitty creations, then we can all laugh and have a good fucking time...what do think about that^^
