I was thinking of that song "walk like an egyptian" when I was doing it. It reminds me more of "walk like a homosexual egyptian on acid" now that I look at it. Used photoshop and a mouse.
Now I understand why I was ridiculed when I first posted on this thread. Trust me on this, if your mother would not proudly post the picture on the refrigerator, it should not be posted here^^ Wait a minute scratch that; if you do not spend atleast 2 hours on it then it probably won't pass. This of course does not apply to everyone because some of the work in the 15 minute sketches thread is amazing.
I thought I would post the steps it took to make my last picture. I save in about ten different files when I make something just incase I want to go back and change it at any point. As you can see I started him out on a highway, it was going to be a dead body. I couldn't get that to look right so I changed it.
Well it seems that my art has the uncanny ability to stop a speeding thread in its tracks. So this last piece I actually started with him lying dead on the fast lane of the highway which is why I put that on his shirt. He didn't look very dead though so I changed it to him getting arrested. So the song could have either been Eagles "Life in the Fast lane" or now it could also be Shinedown "45 (staring down the barrel)"
Yeah maybe you need some more inspiration, check out this Halo Nerd.
This is really good and I like it but I think you should fix the left hand. See the way it gets so big where she is grasping the sword.

Oops meant to say "I didn't actually make them!"
Here are a couple of mine. Sry I actually make them lol^^

Sadly, the promise about that background explosion will have to wait, but I plan to use this on a larger picture, once I get all the stuff done to it... meaning it will take a long, long time, so don't bother to wait for it just yet.
So the background is my standard style, meaning no style at all :F
Otherwise, I was happy with the final outcome. Seeing how I originaly planned her armor, this looks almost majestic compared to it.
So, hope you like it, a little at least.
Wow it looks like you put a lot of time in to your work. Very Nice^^ If only I could spend that much time and effort on a piece, I think I could also impress, but I get sooo damn BORED haha
I didn't actually make this for this thread but when I thought about it, I figured it would fit nicely. Also I am not getting any comments on it in my art thread, it saddens me because I put a lot of effort into it. I'm going to go cry now but I leave you with this^^
I think your imagination is much better than your work. It also seems that you have multiple personalities. You should focus more on the quality of your pictures instead of shoveling out as many as you can. This is my opinion although it should be said that I think these so called "furries" are very disturbing. I watched an episode of real sex on HBO that had people in furry suits having weird orgies and it reminds me of that sort of crap. Oh and also your coloring (or your multiple personalities' coloring) is not very good. You can see the little scribble marks everywhere. Anyway not trying to be mean, just honest^^
Feedback please! Is my work worth continuing? Or is my thread doomed? I just started drawing freehand in photoshop recently, IT WILL GET BETTER I PROMISE!
I wanted to see if time + effort = a better picture. I think the answer is yes. I've been working on this for two days now; I made it in photoshop with my mouse.
I decided to stop working on this because after numerous attempts I could not make a good looking face.
One more I just did. I was getting really frustrated because I couldn't make it look how I wanted it to in my head so I'll just scrap it.
I just finished this, took me about two hours, I should have done a lot more with it but I'm bored.

I know what you're saying man. I just made that first crappy pic in like 2 seconds because you guys hurt my feelings and so I got really defensive. It was also my first time posting and I really didn't understand how it worked here. It was a failed attempt at getting a laugh. I apologize for that though. I really am gifted at photoshop just not freehand drawing and shading.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll be making more next week but I'm taking the weekend off for some much needed drunken activities and amateur pyrotechnics. HAPPY 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND EV1^^

I haven't made any animations in quite a few years. In one of my college classes we learned to use flash5 and I made some then but it seems that I've forgotten how to use flash. I opened flash cs3 the other day and I didn't know where to start. I can still animate with ImageReady but the tweening is quite shitty compared to flash.
I've been starting too many threads so I decided to make one to house all of my "art". I am using the parenthesis around "art" because a lot of the things I create do not involve a god-given talent. If you have a general knowledge of photoshop and an extensive imagination then you could create most of my "art". Take for instance this first one I am posting, I started out with a clean white background in photoshop and three hours later I ended up with this.
I'll get a wacom soon but for now you'll have to put up with these mouse drawn crappy sketches^^
Sorry I would have posted a picture of the bottle earlier but I didn't have my camera with me. The width and color is pretty off now that I see them side by side.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing but I finished just as I was getting off work so I decided to leave it. Thank you though^^
This bottle was sitting on my desk today so I decided to try and draw it in photoshop. I like simple things. Enjoy^^
You've doing useless attempts at abstract for 9 years?
Yes, I open photoshop any time I'm bored, I'm not doing it with the intentions of being an artist, its just what I enjoy doing to relieve stress and pass the time during work.
Anyways, I liked the first one. But it seems people are too caught up in age than you art.
Thank you
:Pretty good, though, the feet could use a lot of work.
:They look kind of stubby.
Thank you, and yes I agree very stubby, thats my attempt at hoofs on a steer.
Sorry about the double post I just wanted to show you an example of what kind of work I have been doing the last nine years in photoshop. This will explain why I don't know how to draw and color well. I always just start with a fresh white background and create abstract forms until I am satisfied with the outcome. I call this one The Battle of Roaches.
im not talking about the art, im taking about the way he acts. also i think if he had trained that much, he would be better than everyone by now. this doesnt really add up...
I can understand why you think I'm young because I was being very sarcastic in the destroy a character thread. It was my first post in this forum and I didn't realize that everyone took the rules so seriously and looked down upon amateur artists. If you are talking about the first drawing I posted in that thread, did you read what it said, or did you understand it, I wrote "circle gets the square" which is from a game show that a young kid would know nothing about. Also I was just being facetious when I drew that, it wasn't intended to be malicious towards either member. As for having "trained so much" that was all back in highschool in which I spent most of it high or drunk. Remember my degree is in CADD which is mostly architectural drafting using AutoCAD which all lines and mathmatics. I am here now because I would like to learn how to draw and shade. This is now where I would usually insert a sarcastic remark to you but I would hate to make you think I was being childish again.
I am 27. I took art through-out school and I have a degree in CADD but after college I got a job making newspaper ads which involved no creativity so all mine had to be stored away. I am just starting to bring it back again. I have all the skills stored deep in my memory but I think I just need to keep working on it. So I don't really agree with what you are saying UMREE.
