Art style is a different skill than animating, I would browse some actual illustrations you like on sites like DA and try to be creative in adapting things you like to your animations. knowledge in textures, line art and paints, etc. are all essential to animating something unique. If you want to see some really creative animation check out Mike Inel on DA and youtube, that should give you an idea of somebody who can take their ani to another level.

Yeah I will do that. I never focused on the texture, line arts or paints when I was drawing and I think that was a mistake. I wasn't focused on the details of my drawing (beginner's mistake lol). I will check out those sites and hopefully they will improve my art style. Thanks!

Here my first animation skit! So, any advice you pro (or any) animators have will be much appreciated. By the way, I'm still sort of a beginner at animation.
