Looking to post some short scripts and stories, for feedback/bashing -- as well as dish out the suggestions for others as well.
...One more bump.
...That's it.
...I promise.

It may seem like I am inexperienced! but I have created 2 flash movies, both being over 1 minute long. So I know how to use flash very well. Ive also completed a degree in animation and illustration, so I have good skills in animation.
Well, this is good news. The script is about 9 pages long -- which, convientently equals out to about 9 minutes in length. As for the look -- I'm expecting whoever to decides to animate it to put their own vision into it, so, it's really not up to what I want.
Drop me a line with your e-mail address, and I'll send you a copy of the screenplay.
Creative differences?
...You mean he would have made it not suck? I can picture how THAT meeting went.
Good find, sir... I'll probably be reading that all afternoon.
...Some unfairly amazing shit on there.

Why, then you'd be like... in posistion, or whatever, with the best possible net handle for when the movie comes out.
"Wow, man -- You're going to be just rolling in the pussy, aren't you?"
Anyway... It'll probably be garbage. Transformers were never my thing, anyway. TMNT FTW!
Meh.
Let me try bumping this one more time before I let it die.

Hence why I'm not getting my hopes up.
But, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Thanks for the comment on story, too, AnimeLight.
Yeah, I well aware that these kinds of topics aren't the most popular -- and I'm even more aware that being a total newbie (...first post! whoo!) isn't helping my case in the slightest. (...I've been lurking for years now, that's got to give me SOME points, right?) Regardless, I'd just be killing myself mentally if I didn't at least take a shot at getting this damn thing animated.
To make a long story short, I wrote a short story a few months back entitled "Black"... I thought it would make a pretty interesting short film, so, I screwed with it a bit and turned it into a screenplay. As you may have guessed, I'm offering it up to those who might be interested in animating it.
I guess, considering my less then desirable forum status, I can't be too picky on who is chosen to apply -- But, I guess, like everyone else... Someone with moderate talent (at least) is most desired. But, hey, beggars can't be choosers, right?
To ward off some unwanted comments -- I'm NOT looking for someone to "make this for me". I'm quite aware that most animators fancy creating their own stories, and don't like working with other people's material.
That's fine.
I'm not looking for you.
Go away.
I AM looking for someone who digs the animation/direction aspect of filmmaking, and isn't interested in coming up with their own story/writing out their own script (...either forever, or just at the moment.)

Now down to the good stuff. Here's a link to the original short story:

Consider that the sample I'm offering. Read through it (..it's not incredibly long)... And if you're interested in taking a look at the screenplay, simply reply with your e-mail. I'll (as soon as I can) send you a PDF file with the finished work. From there, you can decide whether or not it's your cup of tea, and whether or not you'd be interested in following through on the project.
From the people that express interest... I'll look through some of your submissions, and decide who I ultimately want to work with.
Sound good? I hope so.

Another note... I eventually plan to write an on-going series based on the main character of this story... Working on this project doesn't neccessarily create a commitment to the project on either our parts... So, don't freak on me, or anything.

I don't know if this topic is going to get me anywhere... but, hey, we'll see how it goes, right?
