So, while in the midst of creating things of musical nature, I have gotten the itch for visual expression. So to get to the point, what do you think about picking up visual arts at about mid high-school age? am I at a disadvantage for not starting early? And, I mean disadvantage in a creativity/progress sense, not a competitive one.
My knowledge of color is wholly composed of my knowledge of fashion (which isn't that great.) Color compliments, palettes, all that jazz. I plan my writing to be dexterous because I have ordered a fountain pen off of Amazon recently. I understand basic artistic concepts that can be applied to many types of creation due to music knowledge. Am I being optimistic in thinking these things will help me start off faster than others would otherwise?
And, I don't mean to tailor this discussion to my own scenario specifically. I'm sure others have been on the same path just with different situations so anyone is welcome to share, confident answers or not. Also, if anyone happens to have a comforting story of picking up visual art late in life and shortly becoming Bob Ross afterwards it would be nice to share...
im sorry if this is stupid
