Yawn, childish.
Considering that I had catered to the critics on here, who told me to stay away from using burn and smudge on my artwork, I now come to find that people are lecturing me on my new style.
I am no longer interested in trying to make happy everyone, at the sacrifice of making myself upset.
Great work, you have a mastery over the hand, which is a total nightmare for most artists.

Filters are tools to help images, not one click fix all. And massive apply like this is some of the worst things you could use them for.
My artwork, my style.
I would be happy though to check out and see how you go about your own artwork.
It came out more like a dog than a wolf, will work on it as I have not really done any wolf pictures.

Droghead is improving, give him some time.
I like his latests work here with the land scape and face. He could of done the whole page like most other people would, but instead he made his own end spots within the page for the landscape which worked. He also pushed for a close up of the face, so to defy how far the face can take up a page.
I do agree though, the self hating or attacking of other people's work is just going to bring us all down from what we can accomplish.

Okay, my plan is to buy a punching bag and let me fury out on that instead of my poor fellow folks.
That would help, I personally go for shooter games for that whole "need to kill" aspect.
Hope poster? That would rock, go for it!
Someone recently asked where all the great artist went and it looks like many are starting to return as well some new blood.
Welcome back!

Thank you for coloring in, you have escaped SQUIRLY WRATH! :)
I am going to past on my portal girl picture, but I have this new one to show.
I have a new portal girl picture that has a rear entrance, but a family member of mine is fearing that it would be taken in the wrong way as child abuse. I do not hurt kids and was viewing the pictiure as a funny and not in a sexual manner.
Portal Girl is a doorway to H.P. Lovecraft's chaos god to semi enter the world of mankind.
Does anyone have a problem with that sort of picture?

Nice pic, and I hope you finish that alien picture ;)I've tried many, many times. But I still fail at it. I'm not good at using real life coloring materials. And it's more frustrating than the usual digital coloring. When you make a mistake there is no turning back.
You can try to get some colored pencils and coloring your artwork that way. It might be fun and maybe easier than scanning, and coloring in photoshop?

Progress on Strength. I'm still finding a way to cut off her long hair. But every attempt leads to disaster.
The picture is stellar, it has a cool concept with the whole "stuck in stone" and I personally see nothing wrong with the hair being long as it kind of helps for figuring that she has been there for a looooong time lol. You can try looking up "short hair women" for reference if you still want to cut off her hair. It might help.

Which picture did you notice a white box?
I did not think anyone was interested in my comic book, I will see about doing some more with it.

I work with PS on a lot of my artwork projects.
What I did was to bring in to multiple files elemental textures for my material and then use "clone" tool to alter it. I personally like the burn and smudge tool, but other guys do not like it.
Keep in mind that most PS work has to have least 85% of the original image altered to really make it legit your work.
When it comes to characters, I draw it by sight just so that I do not get accused of ripping off the original artists work.
Is anyone else having trouble with posting new artwork on their profile?
I kept trying and got nowhere.
People are starting to bring their A game, love the artwork man!

Ok I will. Thank you :)
It is not crappy at all.
1. You have an interesting composition with the ground shot.
2. It does not look like you just threw it together on the fly.
3. It is not a character that I know, so you are not just copying what everyone else is doing.
Stellar job man, hope the others are as good.

But emo critics and bad art being praised? There is no such thing here on newgrounds. Well keep improving.
P.S. It is a photoshop picture so yes it had a base model and I altered least the rule of thumb 85% of the original picture if not more, so the model could not tell it was her.
I did do a Cow Bebop picture, which I did hand draw each character for it. Just went with this picture instead.
Ah nah all good man, just not understanding why people are so harsh on my work and over a young guy asking a simple question.

I agree that the forum is to showcase our best work, while I also agree that it is a place to give advise on how to improve each other's techniques.
Show me a "2min halfass work" that's being praised, and then show me an emo critic.
What we face is having 2min halfass work being posted and getting praised, yet people who are doing their best work is leaving due to either the portal or by emo critics complaining about the work not being perfect.
I come back to find rookie's work with body form errors and even more sloppy techniques getting kudos. It really is hypocrite b.s.SHOW ME THESE WORKS GETTING PRAISED THAT HAVE ANATOMICAL ERRORS
Still I keep trying to improve and perfect my own style of art and I think that is all the OP is asking.Congratulations, you've just made yourself look like an ass, while trying to show off your own work!

I had to take vacation time off from having my work bashed from day 1 over body form errors or the tools I like using, hell had recently one guy state that my artwork is "freaky and creepy" in a bad way.
