It's true, and it's sad.
My mum teaches year four kiddies and I had the day off today. So I went to school with her to volunteer in her room. While I was there, the kids were discussing things that blew my mind. Dating, kissing, making out, fingering, who's growing boobs, ect. I hadn't even thought about that stuff until I was into my teens. But nowadays, these kids are talking about it like it happens everyday.
"Colin left Olivia for Jessica, but Olivia's making him jealous by dating Zack. But..." *Names aren't real*
It's sad! I was blissfully ignorant of such things at that age, and I don't think it's a good thing that kids are growing up so fast. Also, they swear like a bloody sailor. The poor little buggers are losing their childhood, and they don't even know what they're missing. Why do you think this is happening? What's gone on in our culture to make our kids lose their innocence so fast?
