I die all the time in my dreams, then go into the afterlife, I keep a dream journal. Here's a snippet of one part of one where I died.

I woke up later on a ship sailing. I knew I was dead. I got up and saw my dad and other people. This boat was relatively small but managed to accommodate the massive amount of people. It had wooden floorboards and stairs where we could sit. This was the afterlife, or at least the first stage. I was holding a PS2. You came here with the last thing you thought about. I saw people with DS's and all. I thought for a awhile this wasn't so bad. Playing games, talking to friends, and meeting new people for all eternity.
After getting the gist of it, I saw all electronics needed no power, all you needed was the game and controller. I had one of each, But wanted to play with someone else. So I got up and took my first tour of the boat. New people arrived, but I didn't pay much attention. Then suddenly, I saw Bill and felt bad because this wasn't the afterlife he expected (Christen). He was sad. I went over and said, "How's it going?" "Oh, hi wasup12 (Not what he really said)... This is it then?" "I suppose for now..." And I spent some time with him.
Time passed after that, I don't know how long though. I met a guy (Like Tim I think) Who kind of led me through this. He has been dead for years he said. A year, a month, a day? But I decided lets try something new. We sacrificed my PS2 for an island, he said it was possible. And it was. But realized the boat wasn't attached to the island. So we threw a rope around it CARRYING the island with us. It was a good spot to relax and was fun in some way. When I got back to the ship I realized something I didn't before. There was a cave on the head of the ship. I went in with Tim at first. It was dark a and he said this is the transition place to the next stage. But also random rooms that people have brought with them from the normal world. I saw a bathroom and said cool for bathing (wth), but there was no bathtub. The sink was foaming and lights were dimmed but brighter than the rest of the room.
I went on, and at some point Tim left. And I was in a room. It was black. I turned around but couldn't go back. I went to the middle and was standing on nothing. A voice came over me. "You will have the power to transition for 30 minutes." I didn't know if it was for good or bad. I couldn't live like this forever. But maybe a little longer. I said back, "But how do I get there? How did I get here?" "You got here by me. Everything about your death was planned, except for you turning physic. You will know how to transition when the time comes." Why not just now though?" I said. "We must make sure you are ready." I sat and wondered for those 30 minutes. I wasn't ready to transition yet. But the chance would come again. Some day...
Strange I know, I don't even fully understand it now. I did then though, just putting out there what was written down :)
