Destiny: revolutionary or ... Posted May 11th, 2013 in Video Games

While this is somewhat old news, I noticed there hasn't been much discussion about it.
Destiny! Yes, in case you haven't heard, it will be Bungies brand new IP after the success of Halo. The premise sounds great, the trailers look nice, the world they've created looks spectacular but ...

Oh no...

ANOTHER MMO?

They've tried not calling it that, and use phrases such as "shared-world shooter" to describe it. There isn't too much information on Destiny at the moment aside from some of the core mechanics. But, do you guys think they really could be on to something revolutionary here? Could whatever Bungie create be the future of FPS's? Or will it just be another MMO to add to the scrap pile? I honestly have no clue what to think about it yet. Lets face it though, the gaming industry is dying again(research the 1983 video game crash, what happened then is happening now). Bad games are being spewed out at an alarming rate, and the games are becoming clones of each other. I'm hoping for some change though! Because the standard Call of Duty 4 formula has gotten old since, uh, 2007.

You have to learn how to make a slushie correctly. It is definitely an art form to be mastered. Fill it up slowly, stopping for about ten seconds every third of the way through. It will maximize the drinkability!

Response to: EA has the rights to StarWars games Posted May 11th, 2013 in Video Games

lol, EA has already shown everyone what they think of the Star Wars universe with SWTOR(which was made by BIOWARE).
Goes free to play within six months and adopts probably the most money grabbing freemium service ever implemented.

There already WERE some excellent Star Wars games in development before Disney pulled the plug on them.

I bet the new offerings from EA will be free to play as well.

Or some stupid crap like cart racing. But then again, I would like a sequel to Star Wars Episode I: Racer

I like cats more. They bathe themselves, easy to TOILET train and smarter. However, some cats are mean.

A query: How can a character that has no personality be your favourite?

Neither does Master Chief, but people still worship him.

Should I be concerned? Posted May 29th, 2008 in General

I have been feeling a bit superstitious lately. So, it is getting me pretty freaked out. So, I decided to get Chinese food. And guess what happened? I got a bad fortune. So, I decided to buy another one, and <you know it!> I got another bad fortune. So, I decided to not get anymore fortune cookies.

And my question to you, the newgrounders, should I be concerned?
