Voice actors, suppose to be paid ? Posted February 6th, 2014 in General

Hey im new here and i was looking through all the menus and tabs on this website when something caught my eye, the "team up" section. i did a bit of searching and its were people basically advertise their skills and collab to make some grate stuff!

i was currently planing a huge animated project and was looking for voice actors, but then it hit me. These people are offering their talents for others to use, so i was wondering am i supposed to pay people who help me on "team up" or not or do i compensate them later??

Hey guy i'm a inspiring animator

and i would just like to know, what is an Animators "right of passage"? to be considered a real or a full fledged animator?

Sure, anyone can throw together a frame by frame stick figure jumping up and down in a day or two.(i apologize for anyone who does)
but i think it takes a little bit more to be a "Real Animator"

I have looked around and have noticed some common things amongst most animators and their videos, i have noticed such things as:

Having a video game parody of some sort (Pokemon and minecraft are the most common)
having some sort of hidden drawing of genitalia (most common in spazkidi3d's videos and OneyNG)
And a music video of some sort

i am not saying all animators do this it's just some of the common in animated videos (particularly comedic ones)

This forum is in no way and excuse to get help to be just like the people who inspire me, but to help me and others plan and gain new ideas or goals to put onto the good ol' "do to list"

Also i would like to know what or who you consider a real animator or your own definition.

i dun fucked up. help? Posted August 14th, 2013 in Animation
