It is only the Sims 2. I tried this same disc on my other computer and it worked fine on there. But, that video card can't support the game. It works fine on my other friends computers, too.

I bought the Sims 2 a long time ago. And my computer had a problem reading the disk.

Recently, I have brought the game out again and I thought I'd give it another go. I still get the same problem. When I insert the disk, I can hear it trying to spin, but it just won't work. It does this about 3 times and then just stops all together. My computer recognizes drive D as empty.

Any suggestions on how to fix this and get this damn disk to spin? >: (

I went to Roger Waters DSOTM tour last night. It was so awesome...I didn't have too great of seats, but since it was in a basketball stadium, the way it's built, there wasn't necessarily bad seats. I loved it though...he only played two of his solo songs...which I was happy about. And he played Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun in memory of Syd, which was really weird...because you don't see that song too often. They had like a big jumbo screen behind the stage with all this footage on it and stuff. They also had the pig come out and float around during Sheep and it had "IMPEACH BUSH NOW!" written on it's ass. xD I thought it was a pretty awesome concert and definetly worth going along. I got to go for free, my cousin just took me along. Here is the set list:
