Woah man I wouldn't drop top of the line shit into it. You can get a cool air for a Cobalt for like $80, but I'll take your word for it.

you should be able to do all of the above for maybe 800 to 1200 dollars to increase the gas mileage substantially.

Don't even think it'll be that much tbh. They're cheap cars to tune.

what year is it by the way?

08 I believe.

It's just going to be my economical racecar until hydrogen engines become a thing.

See, I know you don't care, but if you haven't noticed, the gas prices are low because people are losing jobs. It's shitty now but all that man power is going to go into green energy, I do think.

The future is bright.

When it comes to this, do you think a cool air intake is worth it?

And maybe even a small turbo to increase air flow?

Or am I polishing a shit at that point.

If I really wanted to go all out, I could apparently drop $200-$300 on an aero body kit or the SS bumpers, but then it looks ricey and I don't want to look too much like a douchey try-hard.

Add oil as opposed to change it?

Well, given that I don't smack this one, it'll be used to do quite a bit of traveling, mostly between Syracuse and Buffalo when I go away. The 40 MPG I achieved was when I went to the Adirondack Park over the summer, averaging 60 MPH.

I don't really have to upgrade the engine itself imo, it's got an 2.2L in-line 4. I probably need to upgrade things like the air intake and shit.

I was going to wait to make this thread for a few weeks, but General is slow and I'm bored:

My brother is a motorhead. The biggest way he tries to hang out with me is by working on his or my car, and then going to our local Cruise Nights to race/test them. Seeing as though I'm getting my new Cobalt soon, and I'll be fully paying for this one (as opposed to little orange being my high school grad gift) I plan on working on it with him a bit this spring and summer.

Please note, I'm not trying to rice my Cobalt. I haven't reached that level of douchebag nirvana yet. I'm looking for mods that will mostly improve fuel efficiency, but some more power usually goes hand in hand with that.

I got my last car to max out at 40 MPG highway with only some quality spark plugs and an air filter. What else could I do?

Gambling is just putting something in (money) for the chance at gain. Even scratch-offs are considered gambling. And I usually lose.

The eggs need to dry and be rehydrated, so what I'm doing is using a small tank that adults will lay eggs in, and then I'll take theadults out, remove the water, dry for like 2 weeks, and then water them again.

I can't find food sold separately. Just new starter packs.

Weird. I would think you can just give them fish food or just crab pellets. I'll look into it.
