Makakaov had the next best explanation, it was more logical and had a how-it-really-is style.

Well, here's the deal. I haven't bother actively dating much because the general populus at my school is not friendly. They aren't rude, but nobody talks there. There are no friends, no social groups. And I work in a tiny dank warehouse, so there's no opportunity in meeting new people. All the girls in the showroom are hitched in one way or another.

Makakaov basically implied I was a boring person. I'd like to argue that but I can't. All I do is work and go to school during the semester. I don't read, I don't watch TV or movies, I don't play a lot of video games, I don't go out much. I don't really have time to change that, nor have anything to talk about.

I took @Mismo 's advice and just asked her tonight what's going on. We're just going to be friends. We'll probably hang out before she leaves back to school. In a nutshell, it was not knowing that bothered me and now I know. I haven't really been interested in dating anyways, and now I can honestly say that I don't care as opposed to pretending not to.
