I had same problem before. Because of faulty codecs I was first not being able to use mp3 and ogg (and many sounds in FL demo tracks are ogg), then after fixing ogg I couldn't use wav o_O
I uninstalled all codecs cleaned registry and put K-Lite Codec Pack, worked like charm.

i tried to install k-lite, then checked the codecs on device manager, but nothing changed :(
how do i uninstall the codecs? how should i proceed?

ok im getting really angry with this fucker

i tried to download a converter to convert mp3s in wavs
it said i don't have the DECODERS!!!!

REALLY NEED HELP PLEASE

also i checked the audio codecs
they are all installed but not correctly working it says

yeah i know, thats a solution, but damn, FL SHOULD READ MP3s, and i have like 400 sounds in mp3 i need to use.

Hi everyone, i have a really annoying issue on fl
i just bootcamped my mbp (yeah, its a shame, i know)
then installed windows xp pro sp2 WITHOUT windows media player, dont ask me why, it just said i would've installed it later if i wanted, maybe a scholastic version.

anyway, i just installed fruitay, and on the soundbanks it just plays all the wavs and stuff, but NOT MP3s
even if i import them on an empty channel, it shows an empty soundwave.
WAVs work perfectly. so i tried to export a song made with wav sounds.
it just plays on VLC, but same story on the goddamn fruity!

the same version of fl on another pc played mp3s perfectly.

anyone had the same issue?
maybe i need drivers? how to install them? D: D:
