Well this is it: after learning E minor pentatonic, G minor pentatonic, and finsihing A minor I'm still stuck with the same problem: I cant solo for shit. No, unreal, I can solo, except it sucks. Allright, so i bought some shit off ebay a while back and got it sent to me in Canada. Now the first thing was a small metallic box (effects pedal) and it cost me 14.71 in -borded fees-...im not that pissed off- next i buy another one this time sligtly more expensive (63 us) and i have to pay nearly 40 bucks of fucking border fees? who has the right to fuck me over like this? how can i get by them?

For the last week, I've been feeling sort of strange...I haven't been eating very well (i.e, for dinner a few days back I had a huge sausage I got at some random store in chinatown), sometimes skipping meals and such. But it's recently come to my attention that the bones on my hip are sticking out, to the point where it's painfull to sit on a hard bench. The vertebrates on my back are also way too protruding. For a few months, I carried a 40 pound bag around everywhere I went, and my back now hurts like a bitch when I stand for too long. If I feel around my back (right around my beltline), I can feel the back of my hip and other people that have seen it have had the same reaction as me, which is "Holy shit, thats not right". So...my question is...does anybody know of any diseases that cause this? I'm probaly blowing my top for nothing, but when it becomes painful to sit...also, the bone on my arms seem to have shrunk significantly. I'm also feeling sort of sick, like my nose is always stuffed and my sinuses are burning.

This is a real pain in the ass! I set a games resolution too high and now when i run it, the screen tries to go to 1600x1024, which it cant...and i cant play it cause i cant see anything. I tried unisntalling it and all that shit but it wont run.

I have a Geforce 4 Ti 4600, the 4X discont. version. It worked for around 4-5 months flawlessly, but then something happened, anything that requires 3D doesnt work, or works for 5 seconds then freezes and goes down to something like 0.10 frames/sec. If i run the DirectX diagnostic tools, everyhing is in check, honky-doory. But, if i start a game for example, any game requiring somewhat advanced 3D (i.e, freespace 2, 3D Mark 03') it'll run like shit and some of the vertexes have these messed up neon colours. It renders maybe for 4 seconds without a problem, but then, the video (not the sound) freezes, i cant Alt+Tab out of it, and it stays like that for 15 secs and then will render another 4 seconds smoothly...
The drivers are perfectly updated, and it's the second time i fresh install Windows XP. By the way, i had the blaster worm, which i rmoved...

Guitar pickups are basically just a set of 6 or 7 magnets that respond to vibrations in metallic objects...which are usually the strings. The razor is a piece of metal spinning very quickly. Now, i can't explain the remote control. On my guitar (Epi. SG), it doesnt buzz, it goes "Beep beep beep" with the VCR remore control and a lower pitch for the sound sys. remote. If anybody has the equipment, experiment with all sorts of objects.
Okay, I want to know what happens when you put a metal detector next to a guitars pickups. I can't find one. I'm trying to squeeze sounds out of it, and so far i've tried a remote control, an electric razor, and the infrared port on some palm pilot. Anybody try others?
Also if you know the name of the effect used by the guitarists on that offpsring song "The kid's arnent alright" and "Vultures", and also the James Bond theme song has one, please tell me.
For the flanger/distortion, i think that APC song "Judith", the second guitarist uses a flanger with a dissortion pedal, but you have to look out for it.
Youre not very well describing the sound you get, so i can only assume its your equip that sucks. What are you playing through?

There IS a program...its called Guitar FX 3, and its got something almost by the same name but with a different interface for i think pre-windows XP OSes. It lets you add flange, chorus, toute le kit .
I'm trying to figure out what effect they used to get that James Bond theme song that offpsring always uses...Phonetically, it's like "Doong". I've been told phaser but i don't believe them.
One more thing...anybody tried putting all sorts of objects in front of the pickups? I know Adam Jones (Tool) uses a woman's electric razor to get this amazing slippery distorsion, and putting a remote control next to the pk's makes it beep. Anybody tried a metal detector?
I am trying to design a webiste that works like so:
One temlpate page has a JPG system with hotspots, like a menu, and is around 640X480. The computer needs to know that when it goes to i.e, .../Arsenic, it shows a specific block of text within a textbox on the page...so i dont need to make a web page for each of the pages, with just different text in each.
Any ideas?

Windows XP home and pro both have a text to speech program, i beleive it's what most people would use. You find it in Start->Control Panel->Speech. There is a preview box, you just write whatever in there.
AT&T if i remember also has a web-based TTS program, just have to find it. Do a google search on it.

I'm trying to make it so that if you get behind a specific object, nothing happends. Like...think the shootout part in The Skullkid. What i want to accomplish is that if you are behind something, someone shooting doesnt do any damage, but if youre not behind that something, well then lose health.
