You should focus on character detial a bit more if you don't have a BG

Focus on drawing more not squeezing text into the boxes.

Different box sizes and shapes wouldnt hurt.
Nor would letting some stuff be drawn over the lines. Creaking an "off-the-page" look

It's gonna take a while to get off this planet with our "normal" characters, that why I brought Roi back. PL, Who's the guy we gotta kill on the planet were all on now to find the portal?

Sui-May notices something laying on the ground after the smoke clears

Sui-May dodges thanks to Marshmallow Man and strikes back with explosive flash bombs!

Sui-May hears the scream of Marshmallow Man

Oh no! Sui-May is in danger! Another Grub has appeared! will she realize the danger before it's too late!?

Jui-May suddenly finds herself on a unknown world! *gasp*

Basic background for this char.
Lives in a Dojo in the city near the research lab

My char is Jui-May , she is a martial artist bla bla, her parents are dead they died back when Jui-May was a failure. she regrets this.

But now she has mastered the style, she is quick, and can sense most incomming attacks due to her trainning. She intends to kill clones to proove herself to her parents and to herself

Main weapon: NONE (taijutsu)

-whip cord knives
-speed +
-smoke bombs

If we doing this then..post you character pic for this idea

Yeah A story line is good.... however what ruins this the most is how everyone draws "after it already happened" scenes, that involve killing our one character. No one wants their chracter to die, get blown up, crushed, etc. So we start making our chars gods, or bring a random new char.

Solution?:
We should draw scenes that invole the moment right before impact.
