Thanks!

The only criticism I can offer up is that the picture has delved so much into realism that the line work actually hurts it.

Yeah.. I need to get into the groove of ditching the lines.. those are MSPaint lines too XD

Obviously you have no trouble drawing the females, but can you draw males as well too?

I'd day so, when motivated >.>;

I've gotten my feet wet with a few things people have requested from me but I still have a ways to go if I am to be serious about it. Between the hyper Anime some of those people do on Deviant Art and the realism art on Concept Art I have quite a ways to go. It keeps me grounded and knowing where I'm at in relation.

Thanks man. I'm on MSN quite often I can share things I know.

This is the end result of the pic. Tired of working on it.. tired of posting the same stuff. Went with the day time thing, and yes that's default Photoshop grass I got lazy.

plus my original grass was looking pretty shitty >.>;

Threw some textures in there, which is kind of new to me actually...
I know roots are generally lighter but it wasn't looking right to me.

pretty sure he mans the topic starter. I mean seriously if he can draw the yellow/orange anime pic in this thread then he should be able to draw better than whats posted here.

I wouldn't say all that.. I don't know whats going on with the wrinkles, but wrinkles are more of a challenge to draw correctly, best to use a real life reference to learn. As someone mentioned earlier, it does look much like wrinkled paper. Imo the head looks kind of flattened as well. His crotch area is pretty wrong too.

soo hows the picture so i can put more of her stuff on here

She needs to be the one posting not you.

be nice she is a girl

Gender is irrelevant to the skill of the artist

Surely, there's some formula for getting it to be the same length as the lower one.

dude, honestly .... quit making it harder than it is.. you don't need a equation of a MSPaint pic >.>; Also what i did was a rough sketch I'm glad you measured the screen and missed the point of it >.>;

The reason this is in art is because I thought you guys might know.

First of all after looking at your post history.. It seems you would have realized the IMG tags don't work here yes?

but anyways..

Even with free-form selection, MSPaint isn't going to help you because you wont be able to rotate it as you need to. Since you can do it in Flash that's the way to go.

Also,

how about we take a quick refresh course in geometry yes?

Perhaps add some texture or skin lines or wrinkles, looks too airbrushed.

I'll have to try out a few things, i haven't textured much of anything.
And the lines... hide my crappy mouse painting >.>... when you take them off it's all squiggly like watercolor.
