Yeah, It probably would but I had designed without the intentions of mesh smoothing it, That model is like around 1k polys. I was just going to use good mapping.
But great job!
Thx. :D

Thx. I guess I'll get better at sigs the more I do them.

Later on today you're teaching me step by step how to color like a pro, not a smudge-raping noob.
Everything looks so awesome. ]:
lol, yeah, I stopped dodge/burning colors to add initial shadows and lighting, it's only really useful to me for small details and touch-ups.
Thx for the comments. Check out the 3rd video I made, and/or just PM me or something if you are serious about it, plus I'm almost always on windows messenger. It takes a while though, just coloring the face and shoulders like that took me a good minute, and by "minute" I mean a few hours >.>;
This was my ChoW #13:
Tried to do something with the chin, but uh..
...and the neck is too long, back muscles are wack, I'll have to practice this later, gotta move on for now

Thx.
Yeah.. there are problems lol. I had to get a reference but It still just wasn't working for me. I normally draw lines first to get it right but here I just started coloring a blank page. I'll have to come back to drawing/coloring back muscles later.
Kaijin of the Spring
These playful creatures were created by the water goddess to serve her, and to defend her waters from harm and pollution. They are known for drowning people who try to bathe in the pure waters they exist in.

...I'm using a mouse -_-;
Should be getting a tablet within the next month or 2, I don't want to just go get any shitty tablet, might as well get the best if I'm going to get one.
and why wouldn't I look at a tutorial you posted? D:
That new tut looks troublesome (with a mouse) but I'll see how it looks implemented into my next ChoW.
blank:
A practice pic.
I'm getting closer to what I'm actually trying to do.
@SmilingIdiot
I tried that hairstyle tutorial you posted but I didn't like the way it looked with the way I color, so I only did a few loose strands =/
critique/comments welcome

Don't post crap you didn't put effort in, thanks.

I downloaded something called CamStudio, then sped it up and added music in Windows Movie Maker 2
hair should be loose not so chunky like it contains a bottle of gel
I see what you mean, It's just personal preference how I drew/colored it. I'll have to do some different ways so I can at least know how to do it.
why does her leg seem off?....it looks like it was chopped off and put beside her instead of it coming out of her hip there.....that are she has a very big spacing between her legs o__O
Not really understanding what you are saying but..
I think I'm missing some ass cheek action under there that makes it look disconnected. You can also see in the video where I erased it.
and she has fat hands
Heh, yeah hands are a bitch, you can see how many times I had to redraw them T.T; Actually I think I got it right the first time but erased it =/
but the coloring as always is most impressive good job man
Thx
Done with this finally.
Got it all recorded and up on Youtube.
You know you're curious, so go check it out. >.>;

The soft-color lines are a great improvement.
Thanks. Whats going on in the eyes are actually prepping for something else thou :O
I'm done with the picture but not with the vids yet,
I'll post it all at once when I'm finished.

Thanks man. and honestly.. I don't really know. XD But I'm always drawing something in my free time, always comparing my stuff to other stuff I see. But lately I've been working on a project, so until that gets done I can't do anything too serious.
This was my CoW I did "I'm part nature"
CoW#47 - Hydri
Water creatures that take shelter in thick rain forests. They feed on fruits and water regularly drips from their bodies keeping the forest healthy. Sometimes when you see scattered showers, it's really Hydri flying in the clouds.

update :O
I'm going to try to get rid of these thick ass pixel lines I usually do, kinda ruins it =/

Nice angle too, I have so much trouble doing slightly turned poses like that. Great work!
Thanks I'll do him some justice then and color for real.

Finally getting around to making a recording of how I draw this stuff from start to finish.
It's was requested from a NG user a while back.

But yeah.. any one feel free to drop one stick in here (until i'm done with it) and I'll make something out of it, to better myself. Maybe even something I can't make a human out of? O.o
@uyersuyer
lol.. caps
#25 >.>;
we talked about this already T.T;
@ripoffhitman
not arrogant, I'm just saying I like drawing what I draw, but It doesn't mean I cant do other things.
Give me something to draw that you think I can't, and I'll bet I'll be able to do it :)
As a matter of fact you can bet on it, because the moment someone says I'm not good at a certain thing gives me the ability to do it, and do it well.
Give me something you think I may be interested in :O
@wiid
lol, so I've heard >.>; Yeah, I'm working on males right now. It's almost like i didn't even post any males in this page at all T.T;
also, yeah finish that XD
At 11/5/07 07:14 PM, ripoffhitman wrote: but if you want to be original in anyway, try to stop drawing 90% just naked chicks keh. Start expanding in your art, it all looks like the same stuff to me.
Original? I'll pass..
I don't want to be original if it means not doing/drawing what I enjoy drawing..
People like what I do or they don't, I'm not set out to impress the masses looking for some kind of prize.
I draw what I enjoy drawing, be it original or not, it's something I do that is enjoyable and fun thing for me to do. Forgive me but I'm not racking my brain to be a totally original artist to impress someone else.
I don't really care because I like doing what I do, hate it or love it. Some people have said my colored sketchy style is original some people have said it isn't, Some people like my shit, some people don't, it's all opinions to me. What's important is that I like it.
I draw other stuff as desired or requested. I do challenge myself drawing different things. I don't upload everything I have made.
I take critique and practice and go through tutorials to better myself. I take advice to get better at a certain things, like anatomy, etc. My artist ability isn't limited to digital and isn't limited to women, while imperfect, it is there.
Think of it like this, I know how to swim, but I don't on occasion. But when the time comes I'll still know how to swim. The same for riding a bike, roller skating, writing in cursive, making certain foods, etc.
You can obviously tell what I "like" to do based on the ratios of whats posted in my thread. But, I feel like I have shown that I'm not limited to anime women only. Telling me to "expand" really doesn't make any sense at all to me.
