I know I've asked this community to put up with a lot I've done and asked for. But I don't want to give up on Newgrounds just yet. I don't know what I am asking for, help? I'm asking for help. Good advice, a Kinsei prophet, a cat getting thrown at me... cake? Love, comfort? .. A punch in the gut?
Excuse me while I facepalm the desk ...
I feel you, bro. I am hugging my monitor, sending my love to you through fiber optics and aether and shit.
Getting is better is hard. It's frustrating. Sometimes it makes me want to scream. When that happens, you can try just cooling off, doing something fun. Or draw whatever's most fun to draw, and try to turn off your inner critic. Art should be fun - otherwise, why do it?

I was going to submit this to the art portal.
But first i'd like to ask for some critic, and then post it after that.
I will post a link later :D
HOLY SHIT.
Those eyes are amazing, and this is just so... convincing. I don't know how you did, it man, but it's great. You're getting better.
For the kid with the skateboard, it seems like we're looking down a bit on her, and the skateboard looks incongruous.

I don't paint very often so you won't see a lot like that from me. Although I absolutely love painting... My most recent painting isn't as amazing as that moon one but here it is, anyhow. It's supposed to be all 'math is in nature and nature is beautiful' but it didn't really turn out how my brain envisioned it. And to make matters worse the picture I took is horrible because my scanner was too small but oh well. Far from the end of the world. =P
Fibbonaci spiral, eh? My favourite part is the trees.
I really like your stuff. It's sketchy, but solid enough that it's obvious you know what you're doing.

Maybe it's the steps that I take in photoshop. A lot of people like to start out with colors and then shape the image that way, or some draw lines, then color after the lines. I don't know.
It just takes a lot of practice, I guess, especially for your hand to do what your wants it to. I draw lots of things over and over until I'm pretty good at them and can draw them from memory; then I modify them to make a picture of my own, though like you, I still have trouble drawing what's in my head.
These look pretty good man. How long on average does it take you to make one? And how many layers do you wind up using?

I thought the general rule was 1 1/2 - 2 heads width for the shoulders. Also, eight heads height is usually for adult men. Since I draw women, and young women a lot, I stick to 6-7 heads.

Neat stuff - I love your soft shading. I look forward to more complex pics from you. Try drawing a few monsters in a scene.

Here's B, with a cellular structure diagram. Basically it's a photosynthetic anaroebic bacterium. It lives in shallow water or the surface of the ocean, near the light, and uses its cilia to move around. It could possibly evolve into a plant eventually.
I call B. I'll have it finished within six hours.

Bump. Come to Stickam, we have funny echos, derpy cats, and procrastination.
I'm still working on the script. I've also designed the characters.
This is Enorba Bombas, an elf of the Engineer's Guild. She has a Bag of Holding filled with goodies such as bombs and specific, useless gadgets. ;o

Nah, they're fine. They could be a little thicker though. The guy's top heavy.
Hey there! Welcome to the art forum! Your stuff looks pretty neat, though it could use more contrast(brighter brights maybe). Do you make it from scratch?

I actually like the left arm the least. It looks really awkward... what's he doing? The rest of it looks good, though, especially the muscle. I'd like to see you finish this.

Yessir. Should I draw from pictures or make up my own stuff? I have trouble coming up with details to add to pictures.

Cheers
Well firstly, the legs are too short. Legs to upper body is about a 1:1 ratio. Now, when you're drawing legs, you should start with the 'home base' - the pelvis. It's a sort of triangulish-squarish shape. Look up some pictures, note where the ball of the femur fits into the pelvis sockets. Now onto the upper legs; these are about the same length as the lower legs, maybe a little longer. Your main problem is your legs are stiff and lack curves that indicate muscles.
something else to keep in mind is that when stand the lower heg tends to be somewhat 'behind' the upper leg. The knee forms a weird indentation thing... it's hard to explain. Look at pictures of the legs in different poses.
Here's a guide that could help you: http://fav.me/d46p96m
