I don't know if anyone knows how to do this, but I had a friend that did it and never told me what software he used, so I think it would be neat to be able to broadcast TV using your webcam feature on yahoo/aim/msn messengers with some special software, that is what my friend did. If anyone knows about this please fill me in.

Maybe I should've found a better way to say it, I don't mean that technology is advancing too fast what I meant to say is like shit isnt secure enough.....I work for a bank and believe me I know there are certain people that bring in forged checks that actually clear....can't really not cash it when all you have is proof from word of mouth...if the watermarks and shit look legit there isnt really shit we can do.

Actually VISA is the best company....LOL. Actually the ID theft that happened to me occured when I was still a minor, I guess the criminal did that so I wouldnt find out soon.

Do you believe that technology is advancing too fast and therefore things aren't as secure as they could/should be if we waited?! More and more in the news you hear about "identity theft" because of all the technology out there. I have been a victim of it myself and can say nothing other than it totally sucks as you have to spend 3-6 months trying to get everything fixed and restore your good credit. I happened to read in the news earlier something about ChoicePoint had a security breach and 140,000 or more people's identities may have been stolen. Not only does ID theft cause you trouble but then you have to get a credit monitoring service or something like that to keep a check on your stuff and make sure the same thing doesn't happen again. A while back there was a news story about some Jordanian dude stealing the identities of people on the Forbes 400 list....if you don't know about that just do a google search on Abraham Abdallah. I created this topic to see what others think about all this madness going on today with technology and perhaps if they have experienced any of this themselves.
