Yup, sounds really good for a low bit-rate/size song! Still, it's an unusual error message.....

Okay, you're a new user. You came here looking for a specific Flash. What to do? Search bar.
Type in pokemon, and you get a simple, daunting list, with no filter bar.
If you're a noob, you might try going to the Movies page and start clicking around, but even the Pokemon page doesn't have a complete list. The only difference I see between Search and Browse, is a lack of 3 filters, which is damn handy!

Being old used to be a good thing: experience, reliability, knowledge, stability :p But since the industrial revolution, being younger's in fashion, due to the malleability and exploitation of youth....
I haven't caught anyone here over the age of 55 yet, unless they're posting lower ages, trying to be pedos or something.
And quit telling ppl I'm old, man! I might start telling ppl your beard is part of a furry fetish :)
I am sadly underwhelmed :| Maybe the second place game's okay....

Try washing teh acne areas with Anti-bacterial soap every other day. Bacteria is the enemy: clean your pillowcase, sheets and dust from your environment (room). But remember, triclosan stays in the skin and might over dry your skin.
Excessive amounts of iodine (a salt additive) can also trigger acne outbreaks.
Maybe down the line, after you get some decent health insurance (and not Obamacare) or a good paying job, a dermatologist can exfoliate your skin, maybe reduce the diameter of the pores... cold water after washing is a must, to close the pores, so dirt n junk doesn't get in there. Good luck dude!

Some of the most awesome things NG has ever produced, has come from Movie/Game Jams.
Is there any chance you could clone the search parameters from Art to the other categories in the Search bar? It seems like 'browse' works a shit-ton better than 'search', which is just a plain-Jane listing of things.... Maybe a simple fix would be a Browse button, right next to Search.

Fuckin' A man! IRL, you either vote for or against someone or something. Here you have the freedom to assign a rating number. Folks have got to stop voting 0/5 constantly, and start evaluating stuff honestly.
Sometimes folks come here and just want to be entertained, and our work watching/playing, then voting properly, helps them choose their diversions quickly and efficiently. Because real life sucks.

Voting sucks :| We're doing it for the future. We're doing it to keep the archive of submissions here, properly judged (if there can ever be such a thing, even in a populist manner). We're doing it to motivate the authors; to aspire to achieve higher scores, to a greatness that everyone here is capable of, and NOT to be satisfied with just passing Judgement (which happens anyway, thanks to save whores).
Briar's Birch Beer used to kick some major ass when they glass bottled it, but like a lot of old stuff, it doesn't taste the same. The sweeteners are cheaper now, and made out of processed corn and exotic chemicals. Same goes for the flavor :\ The only way you could get real vanilla Coke (up to the late 1970's), was if you went to a place that ordered the vanilla extract straight from Coca-Cola, and that shit was dank, dense and made from real vanilla beans.
Dad's tastes pretty legit - well worth trying!

If you can't find the other movie using the search bar in the upper right of the page (I typed in "star wars college", under the movie drop down menu), you might have better luck posting in the Where is/ How to section of the BBS.

Here's a little airplane from Japan, to speed you to your celebration! "Fox 1, away!"
For a relatively crappy start, try the first few zipped pics \/ I totally skipped getting my picture taken with... anyone :\
I've only been to NYC once after 9/11, and I sure would like to be there this weekend :( To all those going: please have a good time, take plenty of pictures and seize the day, for all the happiness you can find!

I'm only relaying second-hand knowledge here, but it may have to do with the delicate nature of the data nodes the phone company uses to disseminate data, not unlike an electrical transformer.
Add to that: damage from Hurricane Sandy, and the wettest June the Tri-State area's seen since the Civil War :| Water is the ultimate solvent, and isn't very friendly to electronic gizmos. My guess is they have thermal sensors in the nodes, and they're doing their best to keep temperatures in the green. Or Verizon is just being a nanny-state minded turd.

Aww, thanks for the object lesson, looks sweet! Like most folks of advanced age, not only has my printer ink dried up, but the printer itself has hit the landfill. I figured if Tom wanted to take a chance on a big bulk order of generic business cards, the supporters could hand them out, and add their username to the back if they wanted.
Usually IRL when you mention Newgrounds, it's like, "What's it called, New-Ground(s)? And what do they have there?" At least with a card, they have a solid link, and not just a passing (usually forgetful) conversation... I'll use your picture as a template to make some cards, but without my name. Whose card was that anyways? I like the old tank better :)

I made the suggestion for 75-100, one or two newsposts ago. Guess Tom thought it would look untidy.... the Classic Portal's layout hasn't changed at all in a very, very long time.
It's like buying a new belt, after you simply accept the fact, you're getting fatter, or older. So far, the extra 15 slots are coping with the few extra pounds of new submissions. (Voting=exercise/work)
Adding 15 more 'Latest Submissions' to the Portal might not seem like much, but it's a damn fine upgrade. Not only does it fill out the bottom of the page nicely, it's been showing an actual bottom to the UJ entries! Nice job Tom, it's the little things.....

I think you're going to have to try and be more specific, even guess a bit. Did you get any medals from the game, maybe be able to backtrack them from your list? What other games were out when you played this game? Anything catch your eye about it?

I used to play the games, right after I voted on all the new movies, as a kind of bonus/treat. But with an increase in submissions and a decrease of voters, it's hard to get to all those craptastic games, and give them the blamming they deserve.... and they're prime for stolen or shovelware submissions too :\
Since Pico Day, every 2-3 weeks or so, I find myself next to younger folks, talking about online stuff... and I hardly go anywhere! Really hope Tom looks into and implements those NG 'business' cards I suggested. They don't even have to be custom or special, just a 2"x3.5" thick piece of paper, with the web address... and maybe a code for extra experience points for signing up from a supporter's referral... maybe good for 2 new signups. The armed forces used to do something similar; join with a friend, and you both become Private First Class, instead of a buck Private. Maybe even send the business cards along with mail-orders, and a few to whoever wins the Monthly Voting pool.

It's interesting that there are outposts in other territories like Reddit, G+, and Twitter...but all of those combined don't really compare to the interest I have in NG. I even prefer the Art of NG to DeviantArt.
As soon as NG made the Art Portal, I completely ditched dA, not that it was improving anyway. It was obvious the Mods there were playing favorites. That's one thing NG's good about: inclusiveness and opportunity.

Whaaa? DS9 counted to me! You're saying because it wasn't set on a starship, it wasn't a legit Star Trek series? A lot of folks bashed Babylon5 and DS9 for ripping each other off, but I found both of them truly great, for the subjects you couldn't cover while wandering around the galaxy.
Space operas/soaps are still sci-fi, right?
I have to say, in the context of the times, the social pressures, the cold war, it was golden!
Very much agree...
You have to read between the lines! Did you catch how most of the episodes were tackling social issues, like how to deal with Hippies linving in a commune, and what to do when your friends start doing drugs?
The subject you mention was treated a little preachily by Mr Roddenberry, but he was an LA cop and one helluva good human being.
It's like the Bible. It wasn't ever meant to be taken literally, except for dummies who couldn't read.
Dressing up morality plays within the confines of a screenplay, and being able to sell it to viewers, sponsors and the broadcaster, AND in that socially charged era, was indeed a great feat. Still looked cheesy as fuck tho :)

When HD capacity got up to 2 GB, I started to collect data (outside of some mid 80's Apple floppies I still haven't converted yet). When NG was born, new computers were shipping with HD's well under 10 GB, and a lot of the mp3's, avi's and mpegs, were still meant for dial-up speeds.

There's always options. Buy the Supporter upgrade. Use Ad-Block when playing games (presumably the reason why the side bars get clicked). Live with it, and support NG by clicking ads accidentally.... incidentally, that's what kept NG going through the dot com crash/bubble: support of the members. You could also load the swf in another tab, frame free.... Tools>Page Info, find the game file, copy and paste the file address into another tab, hit Enter. Don't think the medals would work though...
A lot of sites do the same thing. Some of them pop-up another tab or window, just by clicking anywhere on the page! The ads that pop-up after passing the cursor over them are the worst though, especially when they fuck with the layout of the page you're trying to view...
Is this particular ad, bleeding it's clickable nature into the body of the page? If so, PM Tom, and he'll get just as pissed as you, and put a stop to it. Tom's good that way.
