I'd wear that next time I needed to run the chainsaw... though the last guy I know who got hurt using one, had his face tore up quite badly. Right after Hurricane Sandy, he was cutting logs, and there was a downed cyclone fence underneath them :O The bar jumped up and smashed him in the face. He looks almost completely normal now, thank goodness!

I had 3 Toll House cookies :p It was like 2$ and change for a block of pre-made cookies, so I thought I'd see if they'd improved. Hells no |: they taste almost caustic, like lime.

Real butter or pan drippings would be best. Hesitant to give carnivorous animals too many plant proteins.

Yeah, the old favicon was iconic. Bookmark NGLogs and you'll have that one too. ;)

But you hardly see any animated tab/page icons anymore. Pretty sure FF still accepts them... ah, but wasn't there a minor backlash against how annoying they looked? That was back around the time they started making tabs, when it was still one window, one page...

At 1/4/14 02:53 PM, Addict wrote: This can be cured, however. I've had my run-ins with many mentally at-risk cats, and the thing that always seems to do the trick is paper bags. Yes, that's right. Paper bags. Any recycled or regular paper bag will do the trick, so don't fret when it comes to going out of your way to find one suitable towards the treatment of your cat and his inner demons. Now what you're gonna want to do is slowly place the paper bag over the upper part of your pet's body, gently nestling the part of the paper bag that is around the base of his neck. Now, once finished with this, you will proceed to pick the cat up by the neck with one hand (preferably your dominant arm's hand), and toss him with brute force at a hard surface. Repeatedly doing this will insure more positive, long-term results.

There's a similar cure for cats in heat. You talk to them nicely, feed them their favorite dishes, pet it as much as it wants. Then you place the pussy in a small closet with no light. Before it can figure out what you're doing it, stun it with a slightly warm, 5 pound (2.2 kg) block of Vaseline (petroleum jelly). Close the door and wait for 3-5 days for the noises to stop.

I think you can in Romania... post-partum abortion or some such, it was in the news not long ago. Just looking at the current global madness is enough to pre-abort any kids before they've hatched lol. I mean who really would want a kid in the face of all this uncertainty? However, the immense joy of kids (eg: Tom Fulp) can enrich and validate in ways most young people can't imagine yet.

Sure I got a lot of bookmarks, been online for over 20 years (regularly for 16 years)! But yeah, most of them are pages I'll never visit again. If I really streamlined things, left only one bookmark per site, I'd probably still have a few hundred :\

While I can't cite any personal examples off the top of my head, I will say, that folks with Asperger's Syndrome (type of autism) can't help but take everything literally to heart. Even knowing it's a play on words, or just words, the first text book (face) meaning, is the first thing to impact the brain.. so 'giving someone a hard time', is especially emotionally perplexing.

Seriously, cancer isn't the only disease there is.

Both my folks had that, but luckily managed to keep it in check. It was the simpler things that killed them... doctors are so overspecialized, you'd be lucky to get properly diagnosed AND treated, before the grim reaper comes a calling.

And superghandi can bite my bag, claiming to know what God's minute intentions are. If I get a cold, does that make me a sinner? The fault lies not in the stars, but ourselves; just look at what man has been mass-producing since cancer skyrocketed over a century ago, and you'll see man's will at work.

Still, it's a strange corner of reality we inhabit... though I seriously doubt gravity at those distances would mean much here.
