Congrats to the winners!

Yeah, idk... seems like a lot of wasted space. I could tell at first glance it was meant for portable doohickeys. What's up with P-Bot's pod, it looks kinda suspect, but potentially handy?

The Artist News and other links have three lines of text, with room for almost 4. Maybe bump up the font size a point or two, fill it out more, make it easier to read? Background looks sweet, we should really rotate them more often.

Truly butt-clenching news, sorry to hear the storm was that bad! I hope you had a generator or something, to keep the heat and refrigerator going.

Got greasy enough skin, I use Dawn dish soap, usually while doing the dishes. I just let the suds sit there for a while before rinsing, and possibly repeating. Good enough for Valdez oil dipped ducks, should be good enough for a human.

Yup, that's what I believe too, if you wanna die, someone else has to do it for you, and then they'll go to hell for murder :\ I had to write a paper about euthanasia 24 years ago :p

Plus, how did this even make the news? This matter should be under DYFS or family court protection, not a matter of public discussion. The biggest pervs, are the government officials who let this slip to the press. Kids under 18 need to be protected, that's why you can't list their names after the fact.

I'd say so! I wonder if Tom and Wade made it through okay... though Tom could probably just put his kids on a treadmill with a generator, and be okay. Good thing there wasn't much wind, still plenty of ice stuck to the trees though.

Site's running good and fast on my stolen Verizon FIOS connection... and the major porn sites have also figured out a way around the throttling issue as well.

You speak to your Mom about this? It's normal to have a few days variation, and sometimes you'll skip a period, due to stress or sexual activity. If you should end up working around other women regularly, your period will coincide with theirs!

I find that the more decadent a Western country becomes, the more it's citizens need hard drugs. We know in our heart of hearts, that (as adults) we've lost control over our way of life. The governments and corporations that contribute to our daily lives, have become darker entities, who imply we are weak and should be afraid....

Response to: Laserdisc Posted January 28th, 2014 in General

I couldn't believe how tight the images were, first time I saw a Laserdisc playback. It's digital, sure, but the playback was analog. I've heard a few folks even say it's better than the compression on DVD's. There's probably a few still for sale online, but, OMG, wouldn't want to see the prices.

There might be a way to make an old record player into a LD player... you'd have to check out the DIY tech sites. Now I know why this old guy up the road from me bought 6, 6-head VCR's... one goes bad, you got another. That's the problem with tech - hardware and software upgrades, with no legacy support (but all the annoying code you could care less about). You buy an old book, it's good forever (nearly). Let us know if you ever find a player, playa.

I think you misunderstood me. The Daily Mail is serious. It's a real newspaper. People actually believe this stuff. They pay money for it.

Yeah, I did... too many years of the press/TV/radio doing their damnest to socially engineer us, got me a bit confused. There used to many news services in the US, the daily paper was actually worth the money. But 40 years of consolidation into companies who issue stock, have really culled the herd for the spin doctors to brainwash.

As far as the usefulness of CF in the future of Newgrounds, in the war against Verizon's bandwidth throttling... I dunno, I'm so confused. About the same time NG used a different DNS, I noticed all the major porn sites are not streaming video as they should. I can only assume the war just got worse....

Art portal thumbnails are sporadically loading, filesizes are being incorrectly reported, and the pod text isn't 'stylized' or compressed or something.... other hiccups too, dunno if they're network related.

Thank you for at least reading, have a nice day or night (^_^)/

It sounds like a Flash issue, but if it is network related, the staff is looking at it. Newgrounds is right smack-dab in the middle of a war online, between very large companies with billions of dollars at stake. And we're caught in the crossfire.. "Problems of the future, today", indeed. Instead of a gay-ass sunburst on the FP, we should have pictures of Detroit... start living up to our heritage again.
