It makes perfect sense you can't use a 2D copy/image mirror, are you high on whippets? Has this digital device gone straight to your core programming, and turned it sideways? Why don't we photocopy you, and see if the post quality improves?

This is just NG...
And we have another fucking Game Grumps fan animation on the front page.
Kids are really boring and predicable these days |: At least the Mario/Sonic stuff has abated... slightly.
Congrats to the winners, and to trueamerican for winning the voting pool! I wish more old timers could support NG.
What an inspiring post (especially for someone as decrepit as myself).
People take to fame differently from one another, just like anything else. Celebs who wanna meet each other, usually go through agents :| I can understand why someone in the public's eye would want to date outside that fishbowl world, where eccentricities, addictions, even hysteria and death, are prevalent.
Cheers to the winners! And @Kel-chan? I'm putting up a new profile pic, sry I have to bump your drunken Xmas Asterix pic :( Congratulations on a first place showing over the weekend!
What are the odds? I just watched an episode, before seeing this thread! "You Can't Do That On Television", or "YCDTT" if you had a subscription to TV Guide, which many people did. The show started in Canada in 1979, then got picked up by Nick and lasted for pretty much all of the 1980's.
I know it's ancient, so I'll just say it was the first best. IDK... *splat* Who's yo slimedaddy?

11:45pm EST, there was no verifiable https certification (via FF 28.0/Verizon FIOS)... I think cloudflare went a little wonky. An hour or so later, it went back to normal, just as it is now. I did notice sales were still going on, so maybe it was just me.
Whoa dude, you lost your secure certification (or let it lapse)! I used to log on to the https FP, to avoid seeing any ads at all before logging in. And that roll over ad at the top, is really lame to mouse around, or so I've been told :P
About 20 years ago, I bought an Estes rocket kit from some store in the mall. I also got extra engines, starters, and a pack of wadding. The 'wadding' for model rockets, is basically uber thick toilet paper, which is slightly flame resistant.
I still have that pack of unopened rocket toilet paper, and now I have 2, NG official rolls, of toilet paper coming in the mail.
The hell is wrong with me? I don't even use a foot of TP per day. Happy to say, I poop like clockwork every morning, which leaves little time for porcelain speed reading. Though I'm a bit bummed at all the 45's in the NRA magazine.....

OMG, how are you?! I don't think we ever talked before, but I enjoyed your BBS comments back in the day!
You sure you just wanna give all that hard work away? Why not put it up on Ebay or something?
(Better question: how bad does your life have to be, to want someone else's account?)
Count me in, but if I win, please pick the next person in line.
I use pages from old Sears and Roebucks catalogs in the outhouse, but I'd be happy to donate several rolls to NG HQ one night...

This is when we JUST bought it haha, can't drive without plates or insurance ;)
Got many miles on it? 4 cyl, right? You try it out before buying it? Gotta listen to the rattles first...
I'd love to see the trailer he used to get that thing home! One thing's for sure, anyone gets stuck in the mud near his place, he's going to be the only one to pull them out! It's legal to own decommissioned military vehicles in a lot of places, but not so legal to drive them on the roads, especially one that heavy... the tracks would decimate the pavement!

As for direct user search, lately I've been keen on having our search just load up Google results in an iframe. We'll just never be able to search the site as well as Google. The downside is the google results aren't as pretty as ours since they don't always pull in thumbnails and they mix EVERYTHING together and prioritize our tag results pages... We could beautify it if we used their API but that would get really expensive because people do tons of searches.
There was an internet and search engines long before Google, is it really that hard to make a good search page? How about gently ripping off IMDB's advanced search model/page? I know we don't have as many searchable tags with our ancient db... but adding 'search between (date/score/views) and (date/score/views)' fields might work...

And not only that. My being on here all the time has resulted in me not talking to you or any of other users I used to talk to daily as much as I used to. Which sucks.
Fuck it, you're a mainstream Newgrounds man!
And, shit, Viper's taste in music... dark zen metal that runs on for hours, like a bad gif loop on YouTube :pDark zen metal?
You sent me a few links to real albums, that ran for obscenely long times, stoner metal of Methuselah. If it's going to take me a day to listen to one album, it can't all sound the same! When I was a kid, I ran into some of those dark, slow and glum albums, and just went :p "What a waste of guitars!" But then again, I liked a bit of speed and screamo metal, so, where's the accounting in taste anyway? Po-tay-to, po-tot-to

I thought as much, despite my Asperger's. Nothing like a little poo in the middle of a birthday cake, eh? A dirty sanchez, on an otherwise peachy clean thread, is a noble pursuit. When Viper started laying into the BBS, I was mortally afraid for him. Luckily he was ignored at first, as he refined his 'bag'.

Look at their reaction!
And lol, that expression was one of, "Who's gonna get in trouble over this?"
What do you think about them being more shocked about a photo of a dick than a helicopter crash?
The media is highly controlled, only approved stuff gets on air... this is what happens when they let the masses report the news. Basically, we saw what the editors would have seen, while sifting through free information... the sorry state of journalism today :|
Happy birthday Tox, I have no clue what you'll be doing today, or what will get you off, but may you have plenty of it!
My sister was moving from the mountains of Cali, to Austin. So we both set off to the south and east. Almost out of Mohave, a massive thunderstorm hit us. We pulled over, and the rain came down, worse than a cow pissing on a flat rock :| The water actually penetrated all the seals on the slightly newish Corolla, including the windshield! No leaks ever happened like that, ever again for another 200-300K miles. 20 minutes later the desert drank it all away
Before, that Hurricane Floyd broke windows just by the force of wind... this is up in the North-east late 70's or so... A piece of straw embedded itself, (at a right angle) into a wrought iron railing on the back porch, I pulled it out days later with a minute *ping*. Certainly took more effort to dislodge it than was reasonably expected.... internal injuries from a piece of straw?! When that storm came, it was like a tidal wave broke overhead, leaving no where to run.

Didn't that fog guy already have a TV special about the trip, on NatGeo or History? This would've been a few years ago, but yeah, it seems quite valid. EM field goes off the chart in the Bermuda Triangle, magnetizes shit O_o Last time I was in an MRI machine, I could feel the power of that bugger.
The last article you listed, mentioned the 20 employees were involved with electronic cyber warfare... or the stock market quick trade algorithms, same thing :\ Wars are always started by the greedy, wanting more.

Could be a lack of leadership, junior officers trying to keep their capabilities/blunders secret.. who knows?
There was one company who lost 20 employees on that flight, and scuttlebutt says they had inside knowledge about how micro/speed trading on the stick market works (since it's their code that makes it work). Add that to all the recent banker suicides (some, just bizarre/clearly not), and Houston, we have a problem.

Happy Birthday, Viper. Have a good one, get drunk, and
That's what I like about Viper, drinking has come up in conversation before, and he just puts it aside, because he saw it for what it is: strange guys sitting around and drinking. Not everyone's cup of tea. In the end, he's now a self made man. Was really nice to know him these past few years.
I had to open it up and play it a bit to remember what a cool game this was! Yeah dude, go for it! Even if you kept the mechanics the same, and just improved graphics a bit, it would still get plenty of attention!
Oddly enough, I had never watched the anime till quite recently! Not even done watching it yet, but I'm wondering if, in the sequel, you could add more characters from the series (only one or two humans, and certainly the little robots!)
Well dude, you're 21 now, it's all downhill from here. In the past few years, I've known you to be a pretty awesome guy, and you're one of my best friends on Newgrounds, and IRL. This place wouldn't be the same without you lurking and posting all over General.... though before, you used to confine your typing to the fringe side of the blogs. I could name so many people we used to talk to, but they're likely mostly dead anyway, and I'm not posting this to embarrass you lol
Happy birthday man, I hope Irish eyes grant your once-a-year-thread, a little well deserved attention!
Hope this isn't a shit-post, think I'm getting a cold :p
