I'm not saying there's a conspiracy or anything, but it seems like social engineering at times. Despite all those cautionary movies from the 80's, about how bad America can get if we welch on our values, the fiction became the truth. Junk science, junk movie plots... either way, 'reforming' public opinion costs dough, and both (US) parties and their lunatic fringes are at it |:

The problem is the more you tell a lie/story, the more real it becomes.... like old ladies gossiping on foursquare, if the lies are talked about often enough, others begin to accept it as fact. So I guess Hollywood doesn't have a corner on sedition, slander, defamation of character.... they just have corporate management aiming the way.

Oh, I know it's not all pr0n, but our man Tom says, 2 different ad-men said, there's no way it can be on the same server....

It's rather annoying, as I know for a fact that Youtube has some less than safe for work content on it, yet sponsorship groups are literally sucking Googles cock to get on board over there. Surely there's some loophole around this. Splitting up an already small website just inevitably leads to disaster, and complete collapse of community.

Fuckin' A, I'm with you and @SCTE3, our security/generic age vetting should be plenty good. But you know, it comes down to the same thing: if you're not a Fortune 500 company, you're little people and have to bend over backward for the law, while YouTube (eg) lets the bent material on it's own servers, stay bent |:

And now freedom of (shit) speech is RIP, eh? *thppppppppppppppt*

I just want to show the gameplay trailer on youtube (though still within the new grounds browser), and have a link that goes to my website for a free download of my game for people who want to play it. FIRST OF ALL, is that appropriate? If so, how do I go about doing this? Do I post it under Games/ Movies/ Misc Projects?

Thanks!

Sure, I don't see any problem with that at all! You can embed a YouTube player in your Newgrounds blog, with links, and add more links to the left sidebar as well (click on the gear thing/account settings, go to websites/contact info).

I doubt this is it, but you never know... plus it's a reference point.

Seems weird, I just deleted one. I selected a game, went to the bottom left of the page to select delete, clicked the off-white pop-up to confirm... worked fine for me, but if your game was made in Project Manager's very first beginnings, you may have to PM http://brentheman.newgrounds.com/ and have him remove it... though he might bump it to liljim, dunno. Nope, not just you! Although in my case, I'm running both of them on an 11 y/o POS laptop that cooks my hands. So, some directx drivers aren't working. If you look in FF help>troubleshooting info, scroll down and you'll see if FF likes your current graphic drivers.

You should mention this to Tom in his FP newspost... there are very few games that can run multiplayer through NG, there really should be a list/subheading in Games. The other MP games are sponsored ones, and some of them need an offsite account to be able to play... http://www.newgrounds.com/games/browse/genre/adventure-rpg/interval/year/sort/score#interval:all

I'm hoping to enter the Construct 2 2030 Jam, but since every game I've seen so far on this site is played in a small window without a fullscreen option (that I can see), I was wondering if there's a resolution limit, or specific resolution we should work to?

I'd love to create a game that can be run at full HD 1920x1080, but I'd like to know in advance if that isn't possible here. UI scaling would be a big problem if I design the game to be run at 720p and above, but it only runs at around 480p, so I'm wondering if there's a specific resolution we should be targeting.

Many thanks for reading!

Wish I could help, but you have to keep in mind not everyone who comes here, has a computer that was made in the last few years... besides, zooming in on a browser tab has becoming more commonplace, and somewhat easier. Certain Flash games are aware of this, and purposely keep the game the same size, no matter what you do (difference games, demos).

You could try lurking here http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/forum/7/1/182
Or asking Tom directly on one of his newsposts (if there's a Construct wiki page here, I can't find it) ... this was as close as I can find for an answer... http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1365530/2#bbspost25060744_post_text

However I'm lucky they didn't know what it was when I was growing up. When someone tells you you're different, it skews everything. Being treated as normal forced me to be accountable, and to learn through experience...
