Slowly wrapping the body in thorns (similar to the Japanese ropes [roses are good {romantic pain}]) while 'crying' tears of molten wax and jolting the body through electric shocks.

generally not true, many hackers are just computer enthusiasts who are curious and like exploring. These are the equivilent of the people who break into drains and go exploring, they do break the law, but do no big harm. Again this isn't always true
