You know what's kind of weird about Skinny Puppy? They're technically an industrial rock band, but they're so different from NIN and KMFDM and all of the famous industrial rock bands. Nivek's stage persona is deeply grounded in rock music, but most of the time the band's been around they've been doing stuff that touches upon rhythmic noise and avant-garde instrumentation techniques (found instuments, etc).

I guess it's true what they say about Skinny Puppy being the bridge between Coil, TG and some of the 80s industrial rock bands like TKK.
