Well if you have Ruby it would be neat to transfer your own Latios and Groudon. I don't think many people will trade those away.

Wah wah the adventure in the later generations suck and the Pokemon look lame. Say what you want to say about that stuff, and those are just opinions anyway. The battle system in this generation is MUCH more in depth and more strategic, and that's a fact, while the battle systems in R/B/Y and G/S/C were broken and gay.

Once you actually beat the adventure modes, there is not much reason to keep going at it again. It's the battle system that mostly matters.. or collecting all 493 Pokemon.

The best way to do it is to fight the Elite Four anyway. You may lose up to the third Elite, but your Pokemon can level up fast just by fighting them over and over.

Or you could just fight some random wild Pokemon in Victory Road.

Using Legendary Pokemon isn't automatically cheap. Some legendaries suck, like Entei, Articuno, and Regigigas. Some are awesome but aren't too broken, like Zapdos, Suicune, and Heatran, although I personally think Heatran is.

I just got the Arceus gift at Toys R Us too. Every time I pick it up from that mailman in the Pokemart, I don't save it after, so everytime I pick him up, I see Arceus with different stats and a different nature. I'm just pointing that out for people who dislike their Hardy/Careful/Bold natured Arceus.

Why use Shock Wave? Use Thunderbolt instead for more power. Psychic is a terrible typing, so change it for Ice Beam. Aura Sphere is amazing.

Sky Attack is for the Hustle ability and I don't plan to change it soon.

I don't want to waste time and find a sunny day TM so I gave it a Power Herb instead.

Get rid of Shadow Ball. Never use Ghost and Dark type attacks in the same moveset. They hit the same types super effectively. Heat Wave is a cool move but the loss of 10% accuracy for just a tiny bit of extra power is not really worth it. Either go with Flamethrower for perfect accuracy with almost the same power, or drop a little more accuracy for a powerful Fire Blast.

The Speed on Tentacruel is absolutely useless. If you just waste your EVs in Speed instead of using them on defensive stats, Tentacruel won't live long enough to throw in a second layer of Toxic Spikes, or maybe even a first layer.

The Homebrew Channel is brilliant. Smash Brawl has many cool hacks. That retarded 3-minute limit for replays are gone. You can also change the textures of characters. I edited a texture myself.

For Claydol, if you want to to be bulky, you gotta max out that low base HP before anything. Same goes with Tentacruel.

For Sceptile... I guess it's a nice idea to use Endeavor to deal with things like Blissey, but if you're running a SubPetaya set, it might seem like a better idea to just use another move for more coverage, I'd recommend Hidden Power Fire.

For Tentacruel, if you want to use him as a tank that does the job of laying entry hazards, why are you worried so much about its Speed? It isn't a sweeper. Tentacruel's base stat for HP is lower than his Special Defense base stat, so if you want to take as many Special hits as possible, max his HP, then add some EVs on Special Defense. Remove the 252 EVs from Speed and put them in HP. I also recommend you put in some EVs in Defense, because it's really weak, and use a Bold or a Calm nature.
