Most of the above posts are un-true. I think that many laboratories would be rushing to create clones in such a case. Stem cell research would advance overnight, and religious fanatics would be pushed aside by the risk of total human extermination.
It's surprising how often this sort of thing happens. Though it's very unlucky and very tragic, so I feel bad.
You should try meditation and focusing your anger intellectually, rather than by other means.

That's what I was thinking, and that's alright because currently I'm running a 32 bit OS.
Thanks!
I have been running Reason as my main DAW for a long time, but I would like to give myself some more options. I'd like to run Reason through ReWire into Sonar X1 Studio Edition, along with some VST plugins. Is Sonar Studio compatible with ReWire and VST effects? I know that some variety of Sonar is compatible, but I can't seem to find out if Sonar X1 studio is.
Thanks for the help!

What gives? It's a 44.1KHz mp3 just like all my other songs are. Why, all of a sudden is the uploader saying they're invalid? Anyone have any ideas?
It's important to know what program you're exporting your MP3's from. What software(s) do you use, and in what order?

Awesome, I feel that clears things up well.

I am chopping up and modifying a royalty free percussion loop for a D&B production, but the results aren't audible as the same sample and I have cut them into individual hits. Realistically, is this ban-able?

Would I not be able to sell that song, or would I have to make it free? just wondering, and the beat is from a medium sized DJ, (like 20,000 likes on facebook to give you an idea) how I could get ahold of an email to get permission to use it?
It totally depends upon the circumstances. If you are making a lot of money off of the mixtape, I'd worry about getting in legal troubles. Whereas if you're not making much off of it or are a DJ and happen to give out a few mix-tapes, there should be no legal repercussions as long as you give the sample authors credit.
If it gets big, consider asking the author. But until then, don't worry about it and give due credit.

A: It's always been there, I just didn't realize it was music until around 2007
Spoken like a true artist.
Q: How did you discover music?
A: I have been listening to my parent's alternative, rock, soul and R&B music since I was a kid. Then when I became more independent as a young teen, I got into electronic music through Newgrounds.
Q: What first inspired you to make music?
A: The trance music of DJ-Immune (who turned out to be a fake). The sound was so great that I started getting into loop-based music with ACID Music Studio. After getting good, our renter allowed me to use his computer to write music with, and I got so good that my parents bought me my own copy of Reason 4.
Q: What is in your opinion, the definition of music?
A: Music is organized sound to me.
Q: When it comes to writing your music without really much to inspire you, where does it start? Where does the first note come down and where does the song end?
A: My music usually begins with synthesis. I design about half of my sounds, and I usually do some improvisation on the keyboard with my new patches before I put anything down. Once I find a note that hits me I roll with it, and experiment with the possibilities.

Dang man, that's super un-fortunate. I'm sure a mod will get in here soon enough to diagnose the issue.

You've probably been banned for using a copyrighted sample.
Read the audio rules, they're a big help. No loops, clips, or straight-MIDI rips.
I draw. I have been drawing bird-like creatures in my school notebooks non-stop ever since the 7th grade. I estimate that I've drawn 200,000 at a minimum. Someday it could get well over a million duckies.

Uplifting is a style of trance, with classical music inspired melodies and very long chord progressions. Typically fast and with float-y sounds.
I recommend Reason 6.0 for this kind of work. Guitar and bass amp modelers, multiple distortion units, and effects to infinity.
You just have to know your signal flow pretty damn well to get it sounding right, though!
Simple oscillator signals from your synth, run through effects like low bandwidth and bit-crushing.
Drums are typically made with a noise oscillator/synth.

Don't be an ass.
Yes, music is hard to get popular in. It's becoming a bit harder now-days than it used to be in the late 1900's. But being able to live off of music doesn't mean fame!
Personally I want to be able to live off of music some day. Whether that's my music, producing for others, teaching, software coding or the like. It's not hard to live off of music these days, and with the growing amateur market, it's not much different from other jobs that involve creative work!
So yeah, fame is something that should be kept on the back-burner for any artist. But quality work, getting published, and being happily successful (Or whatever you want with your career) are good things to hold onto as goals.

I've been having hella' huge glitches with the voice memo application. The buttons will indent but nothing will happen, it won't stop recording, the red bar at the top won't show, and the like. But until these glitches started, it worked great.
What you can also do is having a drawing pad to sketch out your song progression ideas, and then assign specific blocks of the song to a melody you have written down elsewhere.

I've been experimenting with distortion and unique sound design lately. And withing Reason 6, I have found a way of increasing my track's clarity by adding a subtle tape-effect on the master signal. This significantly elevates the high frequencies, and adds a subtle compression that evens the sound very nicely. I also add a subtle maximizer with the limiter enabled, and soft-clip to the point where the sound doesn't clip but maintains good volume.
But my question is, will this kind of technique be alright for playback on a larger sound system? Will my tracks lose integrity using these techniques, or should I trust my ear on it?
I have all 'them sounds comin' in and outta' my Yamaha Audiogram 3 here. I've been pleasantly surprised with it, although it's not 88k compatible.

Your language is beautiful.
Teach me.
To have a lot of things going on, there are a few conditions that must be met:
- The shuffle must meet up. Quite simply, if you want to have funk, you have to make sure that things aren't effectively getting off-beat within the shuffle effect.
- The mixing must be good. Work on signal flow, chaining, EQ, compression, maximization, and the like.
- You must have a good ear for designing your sounds.
- The sounds must musically be kosher. Your notes should match up nicely within their scale, and sound good. It's best to let the music flow freely, usually.
- You have to build your ear.
- You have to build up an ear for your music.
- You should design most of your sounds.
- You must build up an ear for your music, and understand your software confidently.
Yes, I emphasize simply building up an ear, which comes with understanding your studio completely.
Best of luck to you. Although it's not really luck; you just need to keep pushing.
16 years old, 5 feet 11 inches, and 130 pounds (Borderline underweight). Fun fact, I'm 16 but I haven't grown in 2 years, and I've lost 20 pounds. It's a combination of my metabolism and forgetting to eat that's making me so skinny.
But still, my thighs are very womanly.

Which are probably yiff.
