Im in canada...My school is the 2nd biggest in British Columbia. Lots of hot chics (but also lots of ugly chics nothing really inbetween), lots of stoners (someone tried to sell me crack yesterday). Uh... Matt Good went to it. Its close to a university where a lot of olympic wrestlers practice. There was a gun stand off last year, a guy was crushed to death in automotive shop the year before and our junior football team is yet to give up more than 10 points in a game (they won last 3 games 38-8 36-3 and 36-0). And we supost to be goin to cailfornia for a rugby tour on spring break...

well i dont want to submit something that'll get blammed so i want to know if people think its worth it. PopeOfDope im also from british columbia btw, the greenest province of canada if you know what i mean (wink wink).

I'm currently making a south park dress-up doll and im wondering wether i should submit to NG or not because i do not know if the users will play it and enjoy it. What do you think? If the general response isn't too great i wont submit it but if its decent i will. please respond.

In my opinion people shouldn't be allowe to walk around with loaded firearms even if it's in their own house because it only takes 1 accident to pull the trigger, and if you kill someone theres no bringing them back so the grief would be unimaginable. Another reason is because people get scared. They bring them onto the streets, and as soon as they get offended they pull it out and BANG!! Some wise ass is dead for something that slipped out and why? Because you couldn't control your anger. Firearms should only be allowed to be used by proper authority such as police, security, army and people like that because in hands of others it can prove to be a huge mistake. Bowling For Columbine was a good movie that brings up valid points about firearms in the possesion of civilians.

im using Borland C++ 5.02 right now and it's great! It came with a book about 700 pages thick called teach yourself C/C++ in 24 hours, so guess how many chapters it has? Thats right, 1 for every hour.

It cost me about 45 bucks canadian so it was a pretty good deal. Also if you got any friends or family in university or something, or have finished university and took a programming course, ask for their books...I got bout 7 books for C++ :P

file import or ctrl + r

select the thing you want to make into a movie clip or graphic. around the top of the page there should be a menu called insert, go to new symbol (hot key is ctrl + f8). Give it a name and it will be in your movies library (the button in around the bottom right corner). hope this helps.

if you're this new to flash you shouldn't start with games man. start by going through lessons/help that came with it and experiement, and if you can look for free downloads of scripts and what not. a good place is flashkit.com

How do people feel about music videos done in flash? Do you think they're a good addition to newgrounds or not? if you do what makes em good? I've recently been thinking about doing 1 with home by 3 days grace or a song from an indy band.

thats the reason why i dont download so many source codes because of things like that, but if you do a real quick look through the script and it's targeting something like your C: drive or to a certain IP adress for example, just leave the script.

when you do the a href script put something in it that says target="#new"

if you plan on programming you should do it on windows because a lot of source codes on the web are based for windows. you'll just have more success on windows :P

what script are you using right now for hit colission? and what script are you using for movement? If you tell us we might be able to help more :D

If you bought a complier there probably was a book that came with it, read it man. It helped me with basic commands, i wrote this program that displays numbers 1-1000000, the script is:

I do believe templars would exist because if you look at it this way, the holy grail grants imortality pretty much to anyone who uses it. This means a person like bin laden or someone can drink from it then the world would be doomed, but if what you said was true about templars going bad, i would think god would have smited them a long time ago.

But if templars exist if they we're to drink from the holy grail they probably would have had to have taken an oath saying that stuff etc etc.

But a pretty good movie on this subject was indiana jones and the last crusade.

im canadian so i dont care too much :P I woulda appriciated it if you we're not so implicit and mentioned hot topics in other countries, such as the sponsorship scandle happening in canada right now, or the situation in Haiti etc etc.

Well people who don't make flash can vote on it too because
1) that author obviously needs feedback if the public didn't like it.

2) Just because someone doesn't have any flash on NG doesnt mean the don't make any.

3) If an author says that they know their movie sucks but their trying to score points off of empathy. Especially when they say "im a noob and this is my frist movie, plz vote 5"

I hate it when people review movies that have no flash submitted then the author bitches to them saying "i dont see your work on NG! What makes you so much beter then me!?!", It's just so immature of the author.
