Whilst we all did this sort of thing in science and probably did not take much notice, It struck me as an interesting fact, written in this manner.
Do you have a similar fact that we dont think of that much , but is nevertheless happening.

Thanks for the reply. I wasnt worried about it that much it just seemed odd for that to be permitted.

I saw something that someone had written on another site which suggested that people vote for their own submissions on Newgrounds. This I thought was against all rules and when I looked in the rules on Ng I couldnt find anything written prohibiting this. Do people actually vote for themselves??
Sorry if this is a silly thread and probably has been answered a million times. Can someone show me where the rules for this are? I dont think its a good idea if it was allowed because surely people could just vote for a rubbish submission of there own with 5 each day.

I have tried various different drugs in my life and now I dont do anything.
All I would say is that for every high (theyre all different) you have to pay for it with a low.
In other words ....... Its not worth doing drugs for a high. Seek something like meditation or a sport
to give you the bodies natural drugs like endorphines(mispelt i think?). These you will not have to pay for with a low.

its weard i had the same problem ages ago, all i do now is set my freme rate to 20 and my sound matches up all the time :3

I will try that if I keep getting problems. But it seems my problem was caused by testing audio effects
etc about half way through my flash without having any other sounds before. I thought that would be ok
but it wasnt. I have now added a background music layer in the timeline which runs throughout the whole animation which has now "stabilised" my other sounds when rendered to swf. I dont understand why that happens but its helps to know that by putting a background track in works.
If you did not want to change you flash to 20fps you could do this and turn down the sound.

I reckon its imbedded, because I simply have added sound to a flash animation to upload to Ng. I dont intend to do anything else with it like putting it on a website other than here.

I have recorded voice from a mike and also sound effects from a disc. Nothing that I dont normally do.

Yeah, I had already checked that. They are all set to stream.And still doesnt work.

I have made a flash movie and have just started to add some sounds on a couple of different timeline layers. When I playback the timeline everything works perfectly as planned. But when I make an swf
the first half of the movie is synchronized well then for some reason the sounds start to play a few seconds before they should. I have double checked everything and all seems ok until I render to swf.
I have never had this problem before on other flashes and have not made any changes to the configuration.
Can someone throw some light on this please?

That certificate looks like something made badly on a graphics program. From the answers you have given, I dont believe that you are a minister.

When we were kids we used to sit outside one of the many coin arcades next to the beach where crowds of people would walk on a sunday afternoon and carefully place low value coins on the ground.

The only thing Id like to say is that as there are so many users who dont actually contribute to this site with Flashes or Music, it seems a shame that those who do (the Artists), could easily get lost in that crowd. If those who contribute where given an Artistic status seperating them from the watchers
it would ultimately result in more exposure. Maybe there could be a points or judgement system in addition to the existing one intoduced so the artists had to show a certain consistency so as not too allow anyone to receive this status.

I didnt actually realise that NewGrounds was targeted towards socially outcast young males, although there does seem to be a few of them attracted here, there also seems to be a lot of clear minded intellegent mature thinkers on here aswell( of all ages) who seem to be in my opinion offering their
creativity for others to see or hear. For contemporary artists( The flash and music creators here) there could not be a better place for exposure than Newgrounds. Hats off to Tom Fulp ( whos 30 something).

Now I came out of the closet with my age It made me realise that I dont really have to withold my age on my userpage. So Its on there now.
