I ran some numbers, and assuming all the mass of the earth can be converted to usable energy via this gravity machine, and assuming a 10,000 pound turbine, the force output is about 44,000 Newtons. That's the same as an Aerojet AJ10-118K Jet Engine, which was the second stage of the Delta rockets that took the Mars Exploration Rovers to Mars. All that work, just to power a rocket engine? On the scale of the Earth's energy consumption, that is insignificant. Good idea, maybe. Doable? No.
As far as the flag goes, there's wires inside the fabric which were bent to make it look wavy. Even elementary school students know that.

I disagree with PETA on many things...I'm not an animal abuser, far from it. I have pets, I care for them, etc. But when PETA passes judgement on humanity as a whole, i.e. stealing pets out of people's backyards, claiming it's an awful life for them, based on the reports of animal abuse, that's where it's wrong. Not to mention that PETA has said that if given the choice between saving a drowning baby and a drowning dog, they'd choose the dong. And that if a cure for AIDS, cancer, etc. was found, but just one animal had been involved in it's testing, they'd be against it. Not to mention the shock literature that they distribute to kids. Google "PETA comics" and you'll find plenty of results. Two biggies to read are "Your Mommy Kills Animals" and "Your Daddy Kills Animals".
However, with that furrier video, that really got to me. The least they could do is kill the animal before skinning it. Now sure, I can understand for practical reasons why they did that: by keeping the animal alive...and thus warm...the skin is easier to remove. But in the hot sun, and if done in a short amount of time after death, the cooling of the body shouldn't figure in.
I'm a Christian and I still get a laugh out of some of the submissions, like all the different ones about Hell and whatnot. Sure some may offend me, but that's what the close button is for. Don't like it, don't watch it. The Peter Godly cartoons were funny I thought. Shows what could happen if we still lived under Mosaic Law.
