+ You shouldnt be asking about anatomy when you are doing a style like this, there's no real anatomy rules regarding faces for manga or what ever you would call that horrible gigantic eyes and line-nose style. Saying I should buy a mouse isn't criticism, it's talking about something completely unrelated to the thread. I didn't say 'hey guys, how could I improve how well I can draw on my laptop?', I was looking for tips in general. I blatantly stated that it was done on a laptop and that it wasn't anything serious, so why would there even be a thought in your mind that I wanted to purchase a mouse for it?

And grouping all anime together shows vast ignorance. Even that 'horrible gigantic eyes and line-nose style' has underlying anatomy, even if it isn't fucking photo-realistic.

Yeah, I was planning on erasing the scribbles and just leaving a thicker outline when I work on it later.

Try reading the post, where I said I was just fucking around. It's not like I use my laptop to do fucking works of art.

Now, I'm not looking for this to be a masterpiece. It started out as me just fucking around, but it was the first decent female I've done in forever so I started actually putting effort into it. Now, don't get too critical; it was done on a touchpad mouse on a laptop in MSPaint (I don't want to hear any bullshit about blahblah free programs; I use Flash 8 and Paint Shop Pro on my desktop, but I was just fucking around here). What I need is some pointers on what's wrong with the anatomy, what doesn't look right, etc.

(plus if anyone could give me any pointers on drawing ears, that'd be wonderful)

I think he means shading it with lines of the desired color.

Takes longer, but it normally looks nicer than a gradient.
