That should cut it if you expand on it.

Select the sample, then click "Follow Tempo and Key" (or something like that, im on a Norwegian mac and im too lazy to change it :P) and play around with the BPM until you find something your comfortable with, if your talking about the degrading of you sample when you slow it down, then it cant be helped (sorry).

It's more like a mutual thing. While you don't notice (or pretend you don't), the computer is playing you.
Same goes with guitars.

I always knew my guitar was trying to posses me in my sleep, now you have validated my claim.

Im a bit more worried about what will become of Libya now that the governing force is now gone and replaced, its not unheard of that revolutions bring people out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Im still trying to figure out exactly what you are trying to achieve by creating a tread like this, are you looking for feedback? are you advertising yourself?

A demo-ish thingy of how mines doing, I am going to try to remove some of the clutter and take a closer look on the kick(s), ill probably extend it too so it wont seem so overly repetitive.

The boost happens every other note so i dont see how an eq would help, as for the settings:

As I said, theres really nothing special about it, just a filtered bass.
Ive EQd it so it would fit the song, including the removal of all the nasty lower freq (as ya do), i havent compressed it though (yet).

Massive Bass Problem.

Massive Bass Problem. Posted October 19th, 2011 in Audio

So ive been working on this mix and I found this cool Pendulum styled bass, my only problem is the fact that every second note have this sudden sub boost that just annoys the hell out of me, im using massive with nothing special outside the fact that i set unison to 3, ive played around with it and while it does dampen the problem, it wont remove it completely.

Response to: Finding the right voice Posted October 19th, 2011 in Audio

Usually when you write you get an idea of how the character would sound like, take that idea and flesh it out when posting in the "voice actor wanted" thread, like this:

"Need one voice-actor for a middle aged man, the character speaks with authority and seriousness, he has a lower-register voice and speaks quite clearly."

This is from the top of my head, but try to really flesh out the idea.
Setting the standard for quality is also recommended, like this:

"Please have a good mic and some background in voice acting"

it would also help if you posted a character sketch so the voice actors can get an understanding of him.

There are countless of good ways to make your voice sound like a synth, but if your talking about guitar or piano, then i think you might be stuck.

Correct me if im wrong, but doesn't all Native-Instrument Plug-ins come at a high price during launch? they might lower the price after a while, and even if they dont, they always have those mega-sales during summer... might not have to wait that long for it...

Response to: Heavyocity Damage Posted October 10th, 2011 in Audio

Great, you made me drool all over my keyboard....

Anyways, it seems to fit Evolve Mutations quite well, if I had any money left after Komplete 8 id buy it, though the price-tag is way too stiff.

I did some research on that amp, i had neighbor in this dorm I used to live in that had that amp, it sound fine clean, but the distortion on that thing is way too high pitched and screaming.
The guy had a custom gibson that he played through that thing, what a waste of money that was...

Response to: The Audio Forum Lounge Posted October 8th, 2011 in Audio

Id be carful buying Jack and Danny guitars, they break down way to easily and they generally sound kinda bad, but they are reasonable if thats your price range, im not quite sure how it would sound with the 30 wat.

Hello,I'm new here.I'm making a flash game.
I need some music for my game, but I don't know how to get a copyright.
And,I wanna know whether the music of newgrounds can be used for commercial purposes.
Thanks for Ur response.

The music here on Newgrounds cant be used in commercial products unless you make a deal with the artist.
If your going to upload the flash to newgrounds, then there a thing called "revenue sharing" that splits the money you make with the artist..
