ok... now what

Now you wait for the pain to start in your abdomen, it will feel like one of those nasty paper-cuts you sometimes get.
If you can ignore the incredible and mind-numbing paint you might notice a sudden-light headedness, this is normal, now, try to control your breathing, you dont want to pass away that fast now, do you?
If the mind was able to see past the pain you would have felt slightly hungry at this point considering your stomach just ruptured, but of course, any base-based chem does create huge amounts of scarring so your throat must be as sealed as a virgins bum as well, so that might be the last of your worries.

This is where your mind starts to slip away into "darkness", or as new-age assholes call it: "a diffrent state of mind", this is when you stop panicking and accept your death as inevitable and normal, just like reading the sunday paper while on the subway on your way to work.
Only that this subway wont leave you at your dead-end job.

After that... well... i dont think anybody still alive knows.

So... any last ords?

It's called "breaks". Fucking hell get it right.
but it has wobbles and dumb noises so it must be dubstep!!!

Strange how newer dubstep pieces are not Dub-y or step-ish?

BTW: Does anyone know how to pull off a Dub-bass (not dubstep) using VSTs or dropped guitar? ive been trying to look it up online but google seems to belive that dub=dubstep.

If its an electonic-heavy song i usually play around using saws as a base, but if its a morw acoustic/sample-based song i go for the all-mighty triangle.

Staring at you gets my juices flowing too.

Serious answer:
I work (read: study) graphical design and movie production and so i spend most of my day looking at pop-art and street-art, that usually gets me in a creative mood :)

If you got FM8, there is an effect called "Psych delay", if you play around whit it you might get the stuff you want :)

I only let others listen to my shit once we both have had a few to drink.

This is mostly attributed to the fact that when i get drunk, everything sounds pretty damn awesome (yes, even kesha, or Keh-dollarsign-ha.).

Response to: The Audio Forum Lounge Posted August 19th, 2011 in Audio

Why am i suddenly reminded of THIS movie?

Though the movie goes a bit far off the wild side, it DOES bring up some interesting points.

For example:
If the world IS a giant "computer" and the "patterns" are real then we could theoretically create not just a simulation, but an actual universe identical to the one we are in now, and if thees pattern remain consistent then we could become GOD, or at least have the same powers as him.

If we where able to manipulate said world we could gain knowledge of everything, bcome the Alpha and the Omega.

Of course, we probably will never understand the universe to such a degree to pull this of, but its an interesting thought.

I remember seeing a study on National geographic a long time ago that claimed that the human mind is able to see short glimpses into the future (I have no idea what the status of that project currently is, so dont quote me on that).
Personally? Im skeptical towards the whole "There is no such thing as free will" ordeal, considering the massive amounts of factors surrounding it all, while we do act without thinking sometimes we have the ability to choose between thinking about it, and actually doing it.

You JUST posted a link to the Yahoo answer thing and it says quite clearly: "Although I do use a DAW, Logic Pro, to record and edit, and occasionally supplemental software like Reason, Amplitube 2, Native Instruments soft synths, dozens and dozens of plug-ins, etc., etc.,".

Thats a LOT of software ( I have some of em).

Response to: Why you make music? Posted August 12th, 2011 in Audio

I have no idea.
Im one of those people who just grew up around music in the form of my father playing the guitar and singing, i guess im trying to replicate the warm fuzzy feeling i got from music back then, and to create something i could call "mine".

But so far i have taken no joy in doing all of this and throughout the years ive been playing instruments and producing i haven't felt any happiness in my progress and i honestly could have been doing anything but this.

Art, Animation, sports... hell... i could have done all of it but instead im here, i guess this is what you can call "fate".

Response to: A small favor or question in mind? Posted August 12th, 2011 in Audio

Thats auto-tune, I honestly have no idea how else they would get that voice.
