BTW If anyone has something similar to this that actually works with AS2 or AS3 please post a download link.

Well I tried to change to AS2 and there were no errors but nothing was in the frame.

Well it just gave me another error: Migration Issue: The onEnterFrame is not triggered automatically by Flash Player at run time in Actionscript 3.0. You must first register this handler for the event using addEventListener.

for this code:
function onEnterFrame()
{
sword.onEnterFrameFunc();
} // End of the function
sword.alpha = 50;
sword.rgb = 660000;
sword.lineMC._visible = false;
sword.queueLen = 4;

I was following this tutorial step by step and every time I try to export the animation I get this error: Syntax Error: expecting rightbrace before end of program.

For this code:

function getPosNow()
{
var _loc2 = {x: 0, y: 0};
var _loc1 = {x: 0, y: 0};
localToGlobal(_loc2);
lineMC.localToGlobal(_loc1);
return ({p1: _loc2, p2: _loc1});
} // End of the function
if (rgb == null)
{

Someone already told me I had to put something for "(rgb == null)" but I dont know what.

Sorry about the wrong forum post. But what would I put there to make it work?

Glowing Trail Syntax Error Posted July 15th, 2009 in Programming

Well I followed this and did everything it said but I keep getting this syntax error "Expecting identifier before end of program." for this code:

function getPosNow()
{
var _loc2 = {x: 0, y: 0};
var _loc1 = {x: 0, y: 0};
localToGlobal(_loc2);
lineMC.localToGlobal(_loc1);
return ({p1: _loc2, p2: _loc1});
} // End of the function
if (rgb == null)

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
