Actually, NO. I never played RB or GH. So, yeah. I had an acoustic too before it. And It's different from the acoustic, so learning the acoustic might only help you 50%. Less, actually.

W00T!!! Today was fucking awesome. After watching countless vids and listening to countless songs by the best rock bands in the world, I decided I have to do something. I really had to.
So I went over to my local music/instrument/guitar shop/store/thing and got myself some a brand new Squire Stratocaster by Fender. YEAH! I'll post a pic below, but I also got a huge-ass Marshall amplifier. Well, it was somewhat costly...
Anyway, I practiced all day and now my fingers hurt while I'm typing this but what the fuck, I'll finally get to play like a rockstar!!!

1.LittleBigPlanet
2.KillZone 2
3.Metal Gear Solid 4 (a must)
Number 4 represents all the games from the ingenious Playstation Store. All of the games there are mad, and awesome. Well, most of them, anyway. Also, they're not very expensive, and you can get themes, wallpapers and some (not all) game addons for free.
Also remember to download and try Home. It's kinda crappy atm, but I hear it's going to get better.
