^ This. Is. Correct. There's no more to it. The fear in which terrorists employ to their use comes from things like bombing innocents. Hurting innocent people gives much more attention. Bin Laden however, enraged all of the US, instead of making the USA fear him and, he kinda failed. We can all agree on that Bin Laden, being an effing fanatical lunatic foo.

Why the f*c |< would the US, the world's military super-power, fear some puny little fanatic lunatics with lousy AK-47s?

I kinda meant what is there that we percieve to have experienced, what we think we know about, that must exist, like 4 example that our personalities must exist.

I assume you are asking if there is anything whose existence you can know with absolute certainty, and the answer to that is no. (Case in point: how do you know you're not just an elaborate machine?)

Well yeah, if we're talking about materialistic things, stuff you can touch, yeah, there's nothing materialistic I know about that certainly exists.

But hey, some abstract things must exist, regardless of what we percieve, and everything. That's what I was really pointing to.

I know I was a bit unprecise with what I meant with just "What Must Exist".
Response to: I don't believe in justice. Posted January 15th, 2011 in Politics

What I can consider just, you may consider unjust/unfair. Example of what I'm pointing to:

I consider that killing a person in self-defense is justified as long as that I am not the offender (don't consider any other case here), and have every right to defend my life, even killing my offender particularly because I want to make sure he/she can't make another attempt at my life. I believe that, since one of us is going to die one way or another (ignore police and similar stuff), I will do my best to take that person's life in order to preserve my own.

You may consider this unfair, like many other may do. You would maybe say that I should just make that person unable to hurt me, but I will still consider it within my "rights" to kill that person for my own safety.

Another example: your idea of an Utopia (perfect state, everyone's happy) may be (in a racistic view, JUST AN EXAMPLE I'M MAKING), a place where all people are white, black, whichever color suits you, and the rest (those with the other skin color) are just left in some slum. I, on the other hand, do not consider skin color to make any real difference, and would think that your Utopia is a Dystopia (non-functioning/unjust state/society). But since you think that the people with the other skin color are inferior and don't deserve to live such good lives, my Utopia is your Dystopia.

In other words, our senses of justice are different. If you're religious, I'd still say this: I disagree with your sense of justice, for there's nothing that makes YOUR rules of what's good/bad/alright universal, absolute or objective.

The truth of the entire thing: Justice is a perception. Justice is relative, just like our experience of time: you may feel that 1 hour passed by fast, I may feel it passed by slowly. Justice is but an illusion, and given great intent, you may unleash cataclysm through untold ways.

Hope you get my point, at least...
Response to: Private vs Public healthcare Posted January 14th, 2011 in Politics

Also, about "your fellow American", just add that with a person living in the same country

LOL didn't read 1st post
Response to: Private vs Public healthcare Posted January 14th, 2011 in Politics

Arguments FOR public health care:

1. Trading good/stable health for money doesn't seem right, does it? Is it ethical? Sure, they may
have earned the job, but should they demand so much money just for you to be fixed up?

2. The private market really is brutal when it comes to health care (not how they treat patients).
The private hospitals don't give you much of a choice: give us the money, or leave.

3. You wouldn't be paying that much more taxes.

4. It's a question about your fellow American. Even though you may have absolutely nothing in
common and relationship, don't you feel your conscience telling you that letting others suffer
(when really desperate) is wrong, and that you should at least do something to help? Or are you a
cold-blooded, selfish person who doesn't even know what conscience is? Sure, you may have
aspirations and your goals of life, but would you mind helping people who really need help?

5. If you said that you don't care about random strangers getting hurt, you really are implying all
victims of accidents. If you don't care about them, not even pity them for their loss, don't care for
those truly desperate, you really are committing political and social suicide. No one (or few) would
think of doing it or or want to do it.

6. Stop the "Socialism/Communism = sh*t, evil, diabolical" things. Socialism is a "combination" of
capitalism (which money flows between private companies, the state earns mostly thru taxes)
communism (no one owns more than another, not good economical idea rly) which ends up
with that the state controls the private market to some extent, but the state still has power do
serve the people, perhaps even better than the private market would. Yes, the health care reform
may be socialistic (communistic, if you're some American fool), but what do you see: the good
side, or the bad side? Or even better, do you see both? Which side do you consider to be the
most considerable, the one with good outcomes that easily overcomes the other side with the
negative outcomes?

Also, how about a counting for each post on people for private and public health care?

Son, I am disappoint.

But REALLY I think that SOME Republicans want to spend some money on science and that some just don't want to finance science WHICH IMPROVES TECHNOLOGY (in those particular science fields, u know, like, technology research) AND MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER, DUH, or want to spend teh moneh on other stuff, like maybe some good stuff. The Democrats may be somewhat like this too. Ever seen the Gauss curve? (I don't really know if it is appliable, but WATEVAH U GET THE POINT)

I really don't understand why so many Americans think that socialism (very alright, IMO) = communism (sh*t). And I think most peeps in the west (I do live in the West) would say communism is for SH*THEADS (look at China and Nobel's Peace Prize, lulz).

Like, why are Americans against the health care reform? WTF is wrong with free health care? You increase the taxes JUST A LITTLE, and then you get free health care in which you would have to pay maybe $4 000 - $10 000+ if you DID NOT have free health care! And what's wrong with spending a bit money through taxes, and that money which came from you, maybe contributed to saving someone from some possibly serious injury? WOULDN'T YA BE HAPPY TO HELP PEEPS?

Alright, even though you may have nothing in common, have no business whatsoever to the dude/girl you maybe saved through taxes, would you rather have the unlucky person just... be left with no one to even fix him up a bit? That has happened several times in the US, I'm damn sure. Like, what if someone broke his leg, but he had no health assurance and was just left to either pay $20 000 or be left on the spot? Why should you pay to become well again? What if it wasn't even your fault that you got hurt? (I know, u can sue people for almost anything and gain lots of money, except for hilarious/ridiculous stuff like the couple who sued Google and got $1)

Jeez, I think that those Americans who don't want to care about others who may or may not have anything in common with OTHER AMERICANS (even if you're on the East Coast and this random guy is on the West Coast), still should feel that they need to help each other, you know, strengthen each other... ANY CONSCIENCE, PEOPLE, or are you just peeps who care only about ur own lives and don't care about people in need?

Also, how come Americans are almost raised to think that communism is sh*tty crap which is to be accociated with Satan himself? (Not that I'm religious, mind). Also, Satan "freed" humans from our submission to God ande made us free, LOLZ, if you know what I mean.
Response to: Philosophical: What Must Exist? Posted January 14th, 2011 in Politics

Well, I for one, have reasoned that there is at least 1 thing about us humans that must exist: a personality. Regardless of us being a brain in a vat or even a computer software, our personality has to exist. If we are all software programs, or brains in vats in some sort of computerized world in which we are all connected, we are all interacting with each other and form our personalities.

If I'm wrong, I guess we just have lots of instructions inside us on how to react to different things... but isn't that a way to cope with our experience of this world we live in? And besides, if we were programs, wouldn't that list of coping with different experiences in the world be kinda infinitely long?

Philosophical: What Must Exist? Posted January 10th, 2011 in Politics

I know this is not really political, but politics is the closest thing to philosophy on Newgrounds forums, lulz

Anyway, we're having a school project about The Matrix and existensialism. And we have 1 "hardcore thinking" task. What is there that MUST exist, regardless of what we sense, regardless of what we can reason out? What is there that must exist, which can be reasoned through logic and definition?

I'd like to see how the Newgrounds community will figure out this one...

or how someone will point out the pointlessness of this or come with some LOLz and jokes or off-topic stuff LOL

If fantasy, I recommend the Wheel of Time-series. None of them have been made into a movie.

And there's another book I'd recommend, though you would have to read that just to enjoy it, cuz it has been made into a movie. the book is named "Hunger", by Knut Hamsun. Very passionate book, I'd say.

Response to: If offered immortality... Posted August 12th, 2010 in General

If I could have immortality, I'd say a straight no thank you. I've read a few people's other posts, and I have to say, I agree with some. Seeing those around you age, distance themselves, vanish out of your life, and then die, isn't something I intend to do.

As for the many pleasures of life; there are always pains. Myself, I am pessimistic, and I'd rather have a limited life than an unlimited, where both pain and joy can be extended to the endless. For one thing, I would end up living in loneliness; I'd have to suffer deaths of people close to me; and I would never be able to forget the cruel moments of my life. I've been bulled by only girls for three years straight, once, and I got my revenge on the one who started it. And she bullied me with no reason. I did absolutely nothing to her, just tried to be a nice classmate, and then, after 1 month, all the girls in my class were either bullying me, or just didn't care.

Because of the bullying period I've lived through, I have also realized many things for which I do not want to live, not for anything (no emo jokes) in the world.
1. In an accident, I came close to killing a girl. Her bicycle hit mine's rear wheel, and guess what: a sudden 5-meter flight, and she ended up with an injured wrist. However, one of the girls with her shouted "Did you try to kill her" at me. I collapsed in tears. I still cannot get past that time. I still think about that moment. What if she died? How would my life have been now, if that had happened? Would my life be worse than it already is?
2. Over the years, I see ever more clearly, that there is no one like me, here where I live. I do well at education; the few others who do as well, are either girls, or people much better than me, and people I cannot make contact with.
3. I cannot forget. The cruelest memories are like burned into my memory, and in loneliness I find emptiness, a circle of evil.
4. Vengeance and hatred. Those who once bullied me, and those others who have tried afterwards, I want to see hurt. Every time I see those bastards, I want to kick them. Kick them until they will have to sit in a wheelchair forever. But I cannot do that. I'm better than them. And then I hate them even more.

For pessimists, there isn't any reason for us to live forever.

Response to: Story of a shattered soul / my life Posted August 9th, 2010 in General

I'm not new. And that is my own writing. And it's true.

Trying to be serious here... own feelings if you can see that.
Story of a shattered soul / my life Posted August 9th, 2010 in General

From the Babylonian Talmud, Sanhedrin, 4:8

"Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world."

The earlier part, is the case in which I am the victim.

Here is the story of my (if miserable) life

A child died. He died from his wounds, the slashes that never closed, the blood, the essence of life that flowed from his body, rendering him without life. He died, and burned into ashes.

From the ashes came a new person. He is neither adult nor child; he is none of them. He is the remembrance of the child, but an infected remnant, not even whole. The infection is what makes him a new entity; the missing pieces have been replaced with the parasite of evil.

The world he woke up to see had been ravaged. All that once was bright, full of life, everything that made the world a paradise, was gone. The world's beautiful mountains had trembled into dust. Wildfires had burned everything down. The powerful winds had torn everything apart, the ocean washing all joy, happiness, bliss, optimism, away into the depths, never to rise from there. The blue skies had been covered with grey clouds, the sun never to return and shine through the clouds, the blue sky locked away forever to come.

He walked around in the place he once called his home. A ruin of shelter, now providing only a cover from the cold rain. The icy rain that drenches him in sorrow.

And then, covered by fences, he found a gravestone, the remains of his previous I. As he read, the memories of the child he once was, flashed in his mind as well as he looked back into the past. Unprovoked words, coming out without any warning, meant to cut his flesh open, but unconsciously bringing with an infection as well, a parasite. The parasite was both a gift, and the beginning of his damnation. He saw through the eyes of the child: he breathed his last breath, and vanished in the middle of the night. The soul had burned into ashes; from the ashes woke a new person.

Vengeance had once been unthinkable to him. Now it is an obsession, tasting sweeter than anything.
Violence he once considered one of the greatest evils; he now uses it as his tool of justice, to smite fear into the invaders of the world he lives in. He does not even hesitate. One warning is given to his enemies. One trespass after the warning, into his world, and his justice strikes his enemies.
Hatred is part of him. He hates every optimist, for being naïve. He hates those who do not realize the many faults and errors that have not been resolved. He hates those who live in blissful ignorance. He hates everyone who has hurt him, purposefully or not. Classmates, friends, family - he is capable of hating anyone in his memory.
Sorrow clutches him every day. The wounds remain. They will not heal. The scars are torn open even by his closest. He once came close to killing the one he had fallen hopelessly in love with by accident; her friends caused him damage at the most vulnerable point of his life. His heart shattered, and he was rendered with a broken heart. He asks himself whether his love is true, that he loves someone the way they are, behave, the way they do things or if it is only an obsession of materialistic greed, of beauty.
A hunger of love, of being purposeful to someone who once just knew him as "somebody else", has grown within him. But the fear of losing this relationship is frightening him. He fears the pain, the anger, the grief, that may destroy his world further. And the hatred that would occur if a broken relationship comes.
A void is growing within him. A hole, growing deeper as time passes. It is the damnation that clutches him, that crushes him in its grip. The void hurts. It's consuming him. He doesn't even know what it truly is caused by. But he knows it is pain, the void gives him.
And the hope is weak. He waits hopelessly for someone to save him from the pain he suffers, and for every day and night that passes, the wish grows stronger, but his belief that wishes are only dreams of the impossible, pains. He is pessimistic. He once hoped for the best - optimism was part of the child's fall. He had learned from his previous self. He would not make the same mistakes. But the foolishness of hope, and waiting, remains. He fears doing things that will hurt him. He would rather have someone else hurt. He realizes how infected his mind is. More pain.

Today he walks on the Earth, hiding himself behind a veil. The wounds still tear at his body, but his friends help him through every day. But he sees the one he believes he loves, every day too. He doesn't trust many. For every girl he sees, he can see at once how naïve they are, how blissful and ignorant they are. But he knows of his own faulty qualities, and he strives to flatten them. But the female human is destructive to him; they are dangerous, capable of crushing him with a single sentence of three words. Every day he tries to forget by wasting his time on games. He is aware of himself being seemingly addicted. But to what, is he addicted to? Gaming, or the eternal wish to forget All the Cruel Times?

As time passes, he wishes for someone to confront him with their love; but he knows how unlikely it is. He is a foreigner in a land, which is on the other side of the globe, to the country his blood comes from. His parents are immigrants who settled down for work, his brother a successful student in a university. But they have all suffered from bullying, the unnecessary, foolish, and evil mistake of others. His family of four, including himself, has all been bullied. The rest of his family lives in the country his blood originates from. He doesn't even feel a connection to the ones there, however many times he visits them. To him, they are his parents' family, not his own. And his family has come past the bullying; but he is still hurt, and the scars still bleed with his blood. And for every blissful and ignorant person he sees, he envies them, for not having experienced the difficulties of his life. He envies the ignorant, as one of those who are aware of the pain. If he could somehow trade away all the joy of his life, in exchange of never having suffered, he would have done so. But it cannot be done. And despite living in a wealthy country, with everything he has, there are few like him. Few of the same blood; none who have suffered the same. No one he can consult, no one who knows how he feels. He is alone. He longs to end it all. He does not fear death, but he fears pain. His ultimate salvation is death.

Grief, vengeance, hatred, regret, distrust, pessimism, sorrow, evil - the parasite has corrupted him.
I, am this person.

Is my life beyond repair, or will I have to search out a path in which the wounds can be erased? Is there at all any way, in which my life can be restored to a normal one? I search for help, in weak hopes of help... I expect little, if nothing at all, and I am still young as well. I wish of ending it all.

***READ THIS FIRST***

FIRST OF ALL, I have to warn everyone who are gonna read this; my thoughts are as politically uncorrect as they can be, which means that such thoughts are not to be expressed publicly. Many will stand against such thoughts (most probably, knowing the rather naive world today), so read carefully and choose your words of response with extreme care.

HUMAN RIGHTS. What the **** are the foundation of human rights, I once asked myself. And in the English classes, I learned of this sentence;
"We take these rights as self-evident, that all humans are created equal, with certain unalienable rights." At least I learned something similar to this. Anyway, this claim of human rights states that we have the right for freedom, the freedom of speech, freedom of acting as one wishes, and etc. But since freedom CAN be restricted, isn't this a kind of paradox? That we can remove others' freedom is a right we may have (in the strict sense that we have the right to do absolutely anything at all), but at the same time it is a violation of the so-called human rights.

ANIMAL RIGHTS. Seemingly we have given animals less rights than ourselves. We may take this as a matter of course, being the evidently more intelligent creature on Earth. And, we try to take care of the Earth and everything on it. Now, there is a country, where MONKEYS HAVE THE RIGHT TO GET PAID WORK. In this place, monkeys are a step towards the same rights as our own. But why do animals only have certain rights? And where do these ideas come from?

So, ask yourself now; is it TRULY self-evident that all humans are created equal? Is it true that we have unalienable rights? Is it true that any of these rights are self-evident? What is it about those rights that are self-evident? NOT A ****ING SHIT.

Now let's see what you think about this. And remeber, pick your words carefully, and think through everything.
