If you currently live in Poland, thats actually very good english you're speaking.

If you enjoy the concept of Grand Theft Auto IV, then by all means get it. Although, it completely depends on your favorite types of games.

Some foundation on how to go about lipsyncing. Thanks.

I'll Get Into Flash This Christmas. Posted September 21st, 2008 in Game Development

Hello, everyone, I'm a Newgrounds member that has spent his whole "career" lurking the BBS and enjoying any and all videos on this wonderful site. Not even a week ago the thought of doing this art form myself is very appealing. So, when someone doesn't know jack shit about a subject, he turns to someone who does. In this case, I have a whole community. If anyone could give me direct advice from what kind of tablet to buy, which version of Flash to use, simple art styles, to even what subjects to make flash on, the subject is quite broad. To get things started, I need these questions answered.

1. Which version of Flash is most suitable for a beginner.
2. Which is preferable, freehand drawing, sprites, or something else?
3. What kind of tablet would you recommend? (very basic, inexpensive, please.)
4. Any other tips?

I can see the first reply now. "Oh, damn. Another wannabe spamming up the Flash Portal. Christ."

There's things like friendly fire (which WILL be on, since actual tourneys have it on, so don't complain about it) that can be either a hindrance or a possible strategy. That's really it. Just be careful not to kill your partner.

But there has to be something more than that. Its not just "I take this guy, you take that guy", there has to be some kind of alternate strategy of HOW to take them down efficiently and not get in each others ways.

Practice would be helpful. I'm off to do some team matches with Level 9s, since everyone's busy.

Ready and willing. I'm an average to OK player, but all my experience is 1v1, not 2v2. Could you explain the main differences?

Any three people wanna have a few fun matches with me? If you're not busy with these, uhh, "fanfics".

My god, I remember that question! That's very cool that something like that happened to you. Maybe I'll give it a shot and write in before the end of this year.

Still, congrats on being a celebrity. Heh.

Response to: Brawl Tiers and Brawl Queers Posted September 20th, 2008 in Video Games

On most video game forums talking about Melee and Brawl, there are two common consensuses.

1. Tiers are legitimate because there are some characters that are indeed more suited for mirror matches / other more commonly used characters.

2. Tiers are a ruse, because having tiers develops a metagame. If Bowser were top tier, for example, a lot more people would use them. A tier list is for establishing a metagame, so if there WAS no tier list, there would be a lot more balance.

My opinion falls under 1, because, I really haven't seen anyone ignore the tier list, bring their favorite character to a game, and win.

Saying that, I try to refrain from using high-tiered characters. My mains are Snake (which is top, I admit, but I chose him because he's from my favorite video game series.), Mario (my character of choice ever since Super Smash Bros. 64.), and Kirby (A recent addition, great edgeguarding and recovering, along with just being fun to use.)

Thats my two cents.

You can join. Basically, I am in charge of this club, until City Folk is here. Perhaps the whole gang, even the one who started this, will be here. If not, then I'll take over. I love the series so much! Those furries are just so adorable! So adorable that it is a real shame no one can marry them.

I'm psyched for City Folk. Sadly, I'll have to leave all my efforts. But as long as the Stalk Market is in City Folk, I can survive.

Everyone who's active, go ahead and add me. I'm going to revamp my whole house to have A LOT of sexy items. You'll all invited once it's done.

I was actually surprised that ROB was top tier and not high. I'm not one for tiers, I used Snake before people said that he was worthy of top tier status. I just like him as a character in MGS, not in Brawl.

Captain Falcon and Link are worthy of Middle tier status, and you can make an argument for Sonic.

I'm also iffy about Marth being High tier. But thats all personal opinion.

On a more serious note, I need help. I downloaded a few rom hacks to get a feel for first, but the emulator I downloaded (ZSNES, I think) isn't compatible with the filetype (.IPS or something of the sort). I'll try a few others, but can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, a clean rom that I can use with Lunar Magic would be swell.
