i was plannig on doin it frame by frame, i mostly wasn't sure if i wanted to animate it like a whole mass of trees since you'd see less detail because they're so far away, or if i wanted to animate the trees individually, now i'm leaning more toward just doing groups of trees so maybe i can get a similar effect as animating individually but way less work.

alright, i'm kinda stuck. i'm making an animation (though yo coulda prolly guess as much) and okay lemme set up the scene a lil bit. basically there's a forest covered mountain with a storm aproaching, and the veiw is from above the tree line what i want to do is have there be no wind at first and as the storm gets closer the wind and rain comes in almost like a shock wave rustling the trees in the distance at first and rapidly approaching. here i included a pic, there's going to be a guy standing in the tree in the foreground and i wanna see the wind come in over the hill in the distance and then quickly reaching the man in the tree. any ideas or thoughts or even a link to a video where some one has done this well would be greatly appreciated.

i would say every thread where people ask for advice on serious personal issues that require the attention of a psychiatrist. really, does anyone think that anyone has another person's best intrests in mind?i know i don't. i do realize that alot are people just fucking around but there have been some that i believe are some one really looking for advise, usually about suicide or something like that. i mean you guys seem cool enough...some of you... but there's no way i'd ask you assholes for advise on shit likw that here. maybe in real life but not here.
but, yeah, those guys is dumb.
