yey! its finally complete! my first oil painting. took me a while to finish and i am so proud of myself. its loosely based on a pastel by Leslie Benjamin De Mille, havnt found any images of it yet but i am still searching.
anyways, like i said, this took me a lot of work and is basically the best i can do. please leave me some text.
lol i brought it in 3 days ago and it still hasnt dried, oil paint rocks so much!
ps: sorry about the flash, i couldnt work my sister's high tech, professional new camera.

thanks for your sweet comment (get it?). i think you are right about the shading, it is a bit too light. however, im not going to give you any excuses, im just going to try to keep your criticism in mind when trying to attempt something like this in the future. thank you :D

PS: here is a doodle to increase the usefulness of this bump or decrease it....
i always split an image in half when painting or drawing, i consider grids to be standard procedure. i think everyone will agree with this, no one's eyes are perfectly trained.
